A blessed Maundy Thursday Bishop! ❤ Bishop, solemn kaayo ang Mass and those moments when you were washing the apostles' feet, very humbling and very touching experience for me. Thank you very much, Bishop.❤ Looking back on that first Holy Thursday, Jesus showed us an example of the perfect humility and service that we are called to imitate as we become one with Him. ❤ He washed the feet of His Apostles so as to teach them and us that His Body and Blood are given so as to enable us to love as He loved. ❤ He told His disciples to do the same as He had done, to love one another and to serve each other with love to the best of our abilities. ❤ This is our Christian calling, to be the true disciples of Christ in all things, but particularly in reaching out to our fellow brothers and sisters with genuine love and care, in putting others and their needs before ourselves and our selfish desires. ❤❤❤
