What I would love to see is some sort of cloud service to backup my Tama in case of lost or damage. I can’t imagine loosing all our things and ACC if gets lost. I think Bandai will consider adding wider Online Services once Tama Uni ramps up in sells and traction across the world. Just the level of server cost (millions) and online programming brings a lot of issues to Bandai, like cyber security services, Anti-Cheat services running in the background as micro processes in a tamagotchi CPU, Tamas will most likely need a better ARM APU and battery won’t last more than 4h… They may need to add OLED screens will increase cost production etc etc, you’ll end up paying around $400 USD for a basic Tama with maybe 1GB storage just for all those processes and services running in the background. Personally I think having it as a watch was a terrible idea as users tent to interact with the device most often and will result in less battery life. The way they’re doing it now is the best cost effective ever possible, I can’t agree more and be impressed what they’ve achieved with the UNI in terms of Comercial Product per Cost, they’ve done such an amazing work with this product and they shall leave it as is.
you're joking right? a Gen 1 is built better than a Uni, look at the plastic and how easily it scratches, still doesn't stop me from buying a Uni but god damn were they lazy.
Wym lol they’ve made online apps to interact with other people before, even when they were exclusive to only the japanese market. They certainly can afford it
@@asie Uni is by far the best modern tama design. Feels very nice in hand compared to "On" or "pix". First rechargeable battery/no AAA weight. The back is also transparent a nice touch. The plastic feels smooth and flush. I have no issue with scratching. The size is perfect and much thinner. Best screen by far of any tama yet too.
@@AMoneyVideo the screen is easily prone to scratches hence my comment above on how the older ones were more durable, though I agree the Uni is the more technically advanced one so far, I like the transparent back too
@@asieI disagree it was lazy or has poor build quality compared to og. Hence my comment. You can't compare a modern LCD to a calculator LCD in 1997 even. As I said I have no scratching problems on my uni screen or otherwise. However they make cases and screen protectors 3rd party if you need them. Just like anything modern with a screen. Ive seen people mention scratches however I think it's 2 things. 1 some possible manufacturing as seen with the ON units. 2 an excuse for not being careful with small electronics. Such as these examples: "Like yea I just wiped this screen on some trash and now it's scratched ...must be they made them bad. Or yes I just slammed my wrist wearing it as a watch into a wall ...they made them bad. Or I kept this loose in a bag and contacted everything in that bag now it's scratched ...bandai made bad." When the reality is this is a $60 modern handheld that requires delicate care, not a $15 calculator in 1997.

I’m glad you could send items to eachother. I got myself the Blue shell and I want to sell my purple one lol
Welp, I reckon this was fun to watch...🤘🏼💯✔️

Those are neat if only bandai tried harder in digimon vpets
hey let's make babys
oh okay
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💯💯💯💯
Why are you facing them together 😆 it’s WiFi, not IR…
prob just used to doing that from older tamas 😂
It's how it's shown in the official pictures (which I used in the thumbnail), plus it's how I'm used to doing it.
The On used Bluetooth to connect online(phone/tablet) but IR to connect local.
first
thank you for doing this because i really needed this
Happy to help 😁
