I absolutely love what you have done here Andrew along with many of the others you show here on Utube. So grateful for the support shown for Zim and all our wonderful parks. I so hope many of the South African public would not be scared to come up here and experience the uniqueness Zim has as well as it always being safe to move around with a family.
Andrew I click the thumbs up button long before I am finished the video. I am addicted to Africa - my good ZA friend Eldre challenged me in if I visit once I will be bitten and return and have done so 3 times. Kruger and Etosha are great parks with tremendous wildlife encounters. Zim was unstable but now I see I must return. Your comments on safety and firearms - totally agree that being smart and aware of the situations is the best preventative measure. As for common sense - that I believe has vanished from most people's basic list of senses.
"I don't have time to watch 24 minutes of video". For other channels that is mostly true. Not here. 24 minutes fly by and I find myself reminded to relax and enjoy the view.
Absolutely stunning I first watched the last overlanding in America and did not enjoy but every other video is amazing now I just need to get your books to bad I am in the usa
I just love elephants. Yes, there is something anout a lion roaring, squeaking, and otherwise making hair raising sounds. That was a secretary bird taking dictation. They're good at it. Absolutely beautiful and amazing. I also love birds and their sounds. I have identified at least 47 kinds at my place in southeastern USA.
Andrew your shows are phenomenal and probably take an enormous amount of effort to make. I thank you for all your hard work. Gotta say though, because you have a lifetime of experience, it looks safe and well thought out. It's missing that spice of adventure and unpredictability.
👍, am a Zambian studying in Sydney, UNSW, thinking of home, and you bring me close to home. Right now watching you headed to Kubu island. Ok, let me enjoy!
Wait, Andrew, I plan to buy a second hand Touareg once I graduate, can’t afford a Hilux or those other 4 *4s, what’s your advice, I know probably this is not ideal platform.....
@@hurstmwewa9874 Not the ideal platform for anything but driving around town. Not a strong vehicle and very complex and costly to run. Low profile tyres means stay on the asphalt.
I know exactly how you feel when you say 'the more animals arrive, the more you worry about not spending the night' I must admit that we have had a couple of 'double bookings' ourselves, but is was worth it! I miss Hwange terribly. Not sure to make of the Chinese presence though!
Hey Andrew! When Jeramey was talking about the 20 mule team it reminded me that I have been at one of the sites where they mined borax in Oregon earlier this year. Out in the middle of nowhere now. I would suppose they would need a 20 mule team to get it to market. by now you are bored with my story..... :-) George.
Luvverley stuff as always Mr. White. I chuckle… H-wange? No man, it is a smoother transitions of sounds, a whooshing Wwhange. Such a WASP you are ;) On a more serious note, what is your feeling about removing sunglasses from our faces when we interact with local people in Africa?
Judging from your past comments in videos you may lead your audience to believe differently. Anyway well done for the ranger for knowing his client base.
Hello I do your udemy classes and they are very helpful I love your channel and hope mine turns out just as great!!! may I just ask what microphone you were using for this recording or if you were using multiple?
Staying in a ground tent listening to lion, hmmm, well after watching the YT video of the male lion trying to open up a tent, I think I will give a miss. Hell of a good tent though, it didn't rip apart.
love your comment about carrying a firearm. Common sense rules the day. People want to feel invincible and not have to think of their actions along with the consequences that accompany them.
@@user-cl3gz9ey1w I understand frame rates. But why? High frame rates in 4K is a big challenge to produce. And expensive. With no advantage but for slow motion. Normal video run at 60fps seconds looks horrible because it eliminates motion blur. Motion blur is necessary for any moving image to look good. But isn't the story more important? Who cares really, how a film was shot? I don't.

Zim has become a favourite!
Mystery sound from 1975 is a Shrike, a Swamp Boubou! So much nostalgia (and procrastination) from this series, thanks Andrew!
This series is simply sublime, animals, laughs, beauty and a story line. Amazing.
Thanks a lot Andrew for the feedback. I appreciate.

With ASPW, 24 minutes is just a tease
Now that was amazing!
Very well presented and narrated Andrew, Thank You
You've done it again Andrew. Simply amazing footage.
Your little chat in the tent listening to the lions was one of my favourite parts of ANY of your films. Brilliant. I’m going to experience it one day.
Try that in Kenya....
Great job Andrew, thanks so much. This was my back yard growing up so really enjoyed the opportunity for a "virtual visit".
This series gets better with every episode. Great work Andrew
Magnificent photography and narration Andrew . Truly God's garden. Steve

We saw two packs of painted dogs in South Africa in less than 20 minutes, at 1 meter of the car. Was so great. Thank you for your amazing videos
That's a rare sight!
4xoverland we had a thought for you since you initiated, in a way, that trip. Thank you for all these impressions about Africa

I wasn't holding my breath for a response, but pleasantly surprised.
Andrew, well done ol chap!
Can't wait Andrew 😱
@4xoverland , is Techpro Safari any good for a first time overlander in Africa?

Man I really like your comment ‘I don’t carry a gun but I carry common senses’ big thumps 👍🏽
South Africans don't want to share the campsite - Spot on and I agree, and I doubt Andrew would share.
Oh really? Keep watching.
In the next video, you say "wouldn't it be great if they didn't arrive" so I'm sure you dont like to share.

great video andrew ,well done with the dogs . all my trips are centered around finding the dogs.fyi i think they are being called painted wolves now.
Painted Dogs is now the proper name for them.
Second! Do your grinding rear brakes scare the animals away? :).
Different continent. Different truck.
I know it. Great videos - I'm just giving you fellas a hard time. @@4xoverland
Hahaha. Andrew, you were such a cute 7 yr old. What happened! Lol.
Andrew, what if lions rip your tent apart and start attacking?
Gosh, I would rather be in a stupid caravan then...😎👋👍
"speechless"...Andrew forget 4x4s mate stick to wild game.! "outstanding" content!!!
Want to shoot wild animals, then shoot with 'Canon', not by guns! Great video Sir!
