Thouroghly enjoy the vids. Teaches me a lot about the game. Im still in the early stages. One thing you may or may not know about or use because its a glitch is you can create a pile of drinkable coconuts, then drink a few, then put them back in and it will restore the coconut milk in them again. At least on console.
The smoker is my go to! If I need to set up camp on a new island, a smoker is almost always built. Its so much more effective than just cooking the food!
Hey man I'm not tryna 💩on you or anything but give some advice. The amount of times you get side tracked and change your mind is alittle frustrating, and keeping your inventory full with things your not using is also frustrating. I mean if your planning on staying on the island for a bit and gonna do some wrecking, dump your inventory at your camp and take what you ACTUALLY need. It's painful watching you waste time going back and forth while being indecisive. You had cloth, and two different types of hammers in inventory for the whole sl2nd episode and didn't need it. Like I said man, don't get offended pls, just tryna help you help us. I enjoy watching people's series in games like this and I'm sure you could use some feed back. Other than that, keep us the awesome work my guy! subbed 4sure
No worries! I totally get it. I cam see how that can be frustrating as a viewer and I'll try and improve that. Yeah, I can get side tracked on things pretty easy so things can get cluttered pretty fast. I think the mindset I have that I need to adjust is 'i don't want the viewer to get bored from inventory management stuff' but you raise a good point that being too indecisive can be just as detrimental to the experience too. I've been thinking I'm going to start keeping tabs on what I'm doing and for each episode and do a bit of pre planning instead of just rolling off the cuff. It bugs me so much that you don’t break down tree trunks to sticks, it’s a waste of another pile, you’re gonna have to break them down anyways, plus you can only hold one in your innovatory slot, unlike sticks which you can hold 4 per slot.
I hear ya, but if I need them for planks then I need to cut down another tree and ultimately I'm trying to conserve those since they don't grow back. The refined ax is a pain if it breaks and you don't have supplies with you, so I try to conserve hits with it, and always carry extra tools with you. You can have 4 tools per inventory slot! dead game...devs sold out to get the game on a console contract and just blew off all of the people that supported the game on pc, just to give us a lame add on to put the ending on it as a afterthought. a true middle finger to the early access players that tell you about the land shark gliches and the lighter that you had better not lose.
I think you're talking about Redfall, right? lol I wouldn't consider a game that is still very much so in active development with constant updates and features added to be dead. I think people just expected an exact continuation of The Forest, and that's not what Sons of the Forest is. and that's why people are salty. But hey, you're deff welcome to think its dead. You need 10 medium meats/beans when you leave , 2 large water & 2 100% fuel cans

you can stack multiple small meats on the fire before you start it, it helps early on.
