I feel like if a team isn't giving help, the player has every right to demand a trade (Dame for example) but if you have a teammate like Embiid, and you're contending, you shouldn't be able to demand a trade.

I would be shocked if Harden finishes the season in Philadelphia but while he's there he will play hard because I think he recognizes. If he doesn't his trade value will tank and he will be stuck in Philly for the entire year

The team that will sign him is desperate enough to sign him regardless of how he plays this season because everyone know what he's doing at Philly and apparently (wrongly) believes he wont continue that nonsense for his next team. Harden didn't give anyone fake info. This has always been his play: show up in great shape and make it REALLY awkward for Daryl Morey. Harden has told the Sixers and every media person "I won't ever play for a team that employs Daryl Morey", not I won't ever play for the Sixers. Daryl Morey is now in a position where he knows he will be fired before the season starts if Harden is not traded.

Harden is not a bad player and commits to his team (the ones playing). He did not have a horrible last season. He plays really well in the league. Play Offs, he gets a lil fatigued. He is not that bad as projected.

He fits the scheme perfectly, has great chemistry with everyone and it gives him a chance to compete and get paid. Despite the offseason, I really do hope that they can fix their issues

Tobias Harris played 40 minutes in game 6 and had 4 points and 2 rebounds, and those idiots had the audacity to blame Harden. Worst fan base in the NBA. That’s what playing in Philly is, teammates that are allowed to start and play 40 minutes and are allowed to post 4 points and 2 rebounds in that 40 minutes without anyone saying a word about it and shifting the blame back towards the player who literally scored more than any other player on the roster
@@MrBubblecake I blame a little bit of everyone that series. Embiid did not play like an MVP, Tobias Harris, Maxey, PJ didn't play well. Harden did have 2 great games, but he also had 5 below average games 2 of which were terrible for him. Coaching was an issue, there was no plan or ball movement. Philly is a tough place to play yes, but I still think he's wanted. If he stays I'm optimistic. I think with Nurse they will play past their potential. If he does end up going to the Clippers though, I don't see them competing unfortunately. Will probably lose a lot of depth trying to get him. We'll see.

He realizes no other NBA teams are interested in him right now so he decided to just play well again in Philly just so his value could go up again and fool NBA teams into getting him once he's already done manipulating himself out of his current team.

The reports aren't wrong, people are INTERPRETING them wrong. I don't think being traded is his #1 desire. He isn't saying I won't ever play for the SIXERS again, it's I won't ever play for a team that employs Daryl Morey. Being in shape makes it more awkward than a fat suit because Morey is operating on a timeline now. If ownership sees that Harden hasn't lost a step from last year and is maybe in BETTER shape, then Morey's best interest is to find a trade partner ASAP before the ownership chooses Harden and fires him.

I highly doubt that given what happened last few years. Kawhi will be healthy maybe 1-2 rounds? Then they end up having a worn out Harden and a broken-again Kawhi.
Unfortunately Kawhi is most likely done. He was battling injuries even before his ACL tear and after that he rehabbed for like 2 years, came back load managing and still got injured badly so quick again. He should call it quits, he's had a great career, he'll be remembered for it and his bouncing winning shot against Philly will forever be in the highlight reels. There is a career after pro sports for all athletes and he should go out with at least some of his body intact so he can hoop recreationally with his kids. Dirk's body was so done after 20 years he cant even play soccer with his toddler kids. It aint worth it. Even if Kawhi won another ring, which is so unlikely, who cares. All things going well, he has another 50 years on this planet and he needs to preserve the joints and cartilage that's still left.
