On 19 June 2001, an expanded edition of the album was released in the United States, featuring a bonus disc of remixes and b-sides. It was released in the United Kingdom seven years later on 4 August 2008, with a gold cover and two extra tracks.
I still have this on 12" vinyl.... awesome 🙌

To this day, they way it changes at 2:11 is just mind blowing. To me The Prodigy is an absolute genius and way ahead of his time.

the jupiter 8 is the off key middle 8 section, which is gated in a "rave stylee". All of it was sequenced using the rock solid roland W30, the rest of it is probably the internal sample engine, an akai s1000/ s1100, korg M1, and tr909

Nah man, the trashy drum-mess (JUST JACK THE KICK DRUM UP IN THE ENTIRE SUB-100HZ REGISTER), tinny synths and disregard for EQ-fullness is what makes the sound ;).

i bought the original 12" in the bargain bin back in 93. It has become one of my all time favorite records. It is incredibly well produced. The progress of the track is like a story being told, with emotions like happiness, sadness and anger.. The Prodigy were masters in that - Full Throttle is also a very good example. This tune though, i will love it till the day i die.

What it suprise me more is the incredible complexity of drums (reworked break samples mostly) never seen nothing like this even today, but all Experience is like this, it aged greatly. Howlett was a very mad scientist.
Always preferred this version to the 'experience' version.

The only thing I like with the Rewound version, is the intro beats, but the beats troughout the rest of the track annoys me. Sounds too messy. The original album version is freaking amazing.
Maybe too off beat for you .. personally I though it was a worthy remix .. up there with We Are the Ruffest and Fire (Strangely limited mix)
@@mistergeneration Yeah, and I don't like the Wind It Up voice on that one. Prefer the original voice. I do love Fire (Burning Version) from the 12'', but the cd single edit, is a bit poor, like the edit of One Love. Liam cut off the great parts of these tunes. The rough cut of We Are The Ruffest, from the Torso Dance single, is pretty neat. Massive beats.
@@Trawizz1 lol. Those edits are bad, like he was forced to do them against his will… I actually returned the US version of the Wind it Up rewound CD single because it didn’t have the full version on it and the edit of Rewound is kinda rubbish 😂😂

bought the extended U.S. CD and it only had the Radio EDIT of this.. back to the shop to get the CD single!!! Radio Edit did it no justice,.. like most of Prodigy's radio edits lol
I've spent money on LP CD's DJ mixes, Beatport etc. etc....... I personally own over 10000 LP CD's of DJ mixes et al. And if I were to choose one, this is the pinnacle LP of every dance/club music ever created. I can compare others (Leftfield's 1st, or Orbital's brown 2nd) but this is IT. THE best club dance album of ALL TIME. I MEAN IT.
