That's some messed up shit man. I experienced a break-in myself when I first moved out on my own. I was living in a rooming house and the guy broke in through one of the basement windows, and my room was literally right beside the window he came through. Luckily all of the rooms had heavy doors and good locks on them. But after he gets in, this is where it gets weird. He goes upstairs to the main floor and into the kitchen, opens the freezer and steals a bag of frozen food, which just so happened to be mine. So the following day around noon-ish all of us were called into the common room and the events of the previous night were relayed to us and I'm kind of ticked off because I didn't have much money then. I was still trying to finish high school while living on my own and all of that shit. But anyway, so the cops showed up but didn't bother taking statements from anyone because no one had seen anything because we were all in bed and sleeping around the time the break-in happened. Luckily though it was all caught on camera because we had security cameras on every floor and shared room in the house and the recording showed him coming in through the window and going up the stairs and then appearing in the kitchen moments later - there was a bit of a long hallway that lead to the back door and the stairs leading to the basement. I never got reimbursed for the food I had stolen from me, and it was like $80 in shit, too. But, it is what it is.

So around 2 weeks ago someone tried breaking in my house so there 3 people home me mum and my sister I’m on the toilet and my sister and mum are in my mums room so we are all up stairs then we hear the door open I just say to my self it’s probably dad then my dog starts barking then the front door closes I ask my mum and sister if they heard the front door open they say yes so I go to the window and look outside to see some kid who was in his teens walking of my driveway i tell my mum and she tells me to lock the front so I go downstairs and lock the door then we just continue our day. a week later my cousins come over so ask if they want to kick the ball so we go outside to kick the ball by the way we live near the bush 10 minutes later we hear growling coming from the bush we slowly see a person come out I remember him so I ran to my cousin and tell her to bolt to the door so we run as fast as we can to the door get inside and lock it she tells my mum and I look the window and see him on our driveway then walks away. I’ll tell u if anything happens

One time there was a old man standing on my doorstep about 45-60s he's on the phone he didn't steal my bike or any equipment that I had under my deck he might have wondered into the wrong back yard but you would think he would know the back yards they all looked the same shape wise but every Deck had different furniture or at least a barbeque but they were all different but it was still scary. Nothing happened but still for a while I was scared that he might be in the Ally way behind my house to jump me or kidnapp me. It was probably a mistake but the feeling that he could break in or steal all the stuff under my deck.
