Nice vid, man. For the next off-meta vid, can we see the M4? Since Verdansk, I have always ran the M4. It’s my favorite weapon. It also sounds wonderful unsuppressed.
The m4 is semi meta. Only thing holding it back is the ads speed.
Otherwise it's a laserbeam. It's like the post nerf amax

It’s just like OG warzone. When Cold War came out all the weapons were more powerful than the MW weapons. Really hated it.
The Jak BFB really helps the MW2 weapons. Great vid Westie!

You either lean on the gun's main good stat instead of balancing it or balance it and have a mediocre gun, that's how these older guns feel.
Definitely needs a tweak to close the gap between meta and off-meta guns just to have variety.
Awesome vid as always Westie, Im with you on the topic of running off meta builds, and i've been popping off with the 40 round RPK from MW2, specially with the bruen heavy support grip, the optic with the built in laser and a supressor or the jak BFB, it is a hard hitter and it isn't as heavy as people would think

I agree with you Mr Westie. I'm constantly trying other off meta weapons. Otherwise boredom sets in pretty bad using the same guns over and over. I recently tried the Taq V. Pretty sure it's off meta but there's something up with that gun. Med - long range set up. worth a try
At least you aren’t like some other content creators running a random off meta weapon and having a decent game and then suddenly billing that weapon as an under the radar META weapon.

As for off meta mw2 weapons, perhaps you could use the FTAC recon, it has one of the fastest ttks in the game, surprisingly, however it's semi-auto and has a maximum 15-round mag. It kills in 5 shots up to 20 meters though.
Epic finish! Try running the AK in Semi auto with high grain rounds built like a dmr for a real difficult but not even that bad challenge!
The old guns don't have to rise to the top but sure would be nice if they were at least competitive. So many guns that are not being used at all in the game. Almost pointless that they carried over since they are pretty much all outclassed by the new guns. Maybe a couple smgs can compete but that's it.
I would love the taq 56 to be competitive again. Still one of my favorites ever in the game

I bet the squall is a monster with the bfb. It's been effective in wz from what I've seen friends try but i can't get it to have low enough recoil. May try it with the bfb later tonight

My main off meta gun in the past few week has been the Tempus Torrent, it fries, just try it.
Try the Rapp H 😅, it beams with the JaK BFB Muzzle
JAK BFB & Bruen Heavy Support grip have revolutionised the game. They make every gun viable by reducing the weird recoil.

Is the laser always visible on the Cronen intlas map 12 optic? It says only in ADS but I'm sure on one of my kill cams the guy could see it all the time.
I was trying the old meta build of the iso hemlock and it was garbage, so I threw on the high grain ammo and it was actually hitting hard and the ttk felt decent.
The best underrated gun duo is the ar stb556 with mx9 smg
STB 556 got a secret buff and it's now one of the fastest killing weapons in the game
I have been using the Icaris 556 in WZ3 and it feels pretty good same with the Victus but most of the other guns are very 50/50 at best even in plunder

Haven't tried it in Warzone 3 but last week I threw it on a Class in Multiplayer to play the War mode just for fun and its still such a joy to use. AK has always been fun, its definitely viable in Multiplayer but I think it needs to be given a little nose candy for Warzone
My squad has been playing a lot of plunder as of late. The boys like how you respawn & always have your loadout.
I think it is fun, but we have a strategy that gets the win quite a lot. Gets almost boring, except I can test weapons like this.
I've been going on to plunder as a solo as a way to practice sniping as well as try guns. It's also fun to be a fly on the ointment of teams at the piggy Bank chopper.
Been testing mw2 snipers. So love the mcpr as it is a 1 shot chest shot if they are missing a plate as long as they are in effective range. Also it's easy to get 1300m/s velocity and still be around 700ms ads as opposed to close to 900 with the katt. Not to mention the rate of fire you get with the quick bolt. Gives you almost 59 rounds a minute I can't remember what the Katt is for ROF.
Like to make a combination of an off meta and then a meta weapon in a loadout. Kinda fun

I recently countered someone camping the top of the resort only using the m4(jak bfb + bruen heavy)
Interestingly enough I've always played with my off meta weapons since MW3 original. While I only pull a 2.5kd I'd rather do it by trolling people by changing how hard I run and gun than give into "do this! It works!"
M4, STB 556, Cronen Squall (Oden 2.0), and Lachmann 556 (Grau 2.0) are waaaaay better choices
OH AND THE TAQ 56. Taq 56 is still REALLY GOOD
oh, and try out the Kastov 556. tried it on the bots in the firing range and it barely has recoil and ttk seems promising.

M13 already got nerfed because of it and taq 56 has barely any range.

That build might go too far into recoil. You could use a high zoom optic, get away with just the muzzle and maybe the barrel for recoil and spec into more bullet velocity. Or build it faster
Watch they just buff the rpk into the stratosphere for the next 13 months 😂
Ak definitely not a good Sniper Support gun. More like a gun to use as a mid-long range weapon in Resurgence
It would be great if the "off-meta" weapons were still competitive so you could use the weapons you wanted, but they always make the new weapons better so you pay for battle pass tier skips and weapon bundles.
I see your Kastov 762 and I raise you (or should that be lower you....) the M4. I've been wanting to try to run the M4 just to see if it can be done for a while even if it's bottom of the pile now! Love the off-meta challenges; Gives the game variety when coming up the same two/three guns all the time.
Ya should try the Lachmann 762, high recoil high damage, when you can control the recoil, it's a beast

Not really. As an MnK player I need distance to be able to beat aim assist at close range. Also, positioning correctly is a way to make sure you always have power in a gunfight.
Most of the games put the ak pretty low on ranks bcs of recoil and ttk buti love the ak platform every game even if i suck with it i cant bring myself not to use it
The ak definitely not the one anymore. Needs a super buff 💪 have a bit of range and we all know the al is renowned for recoil. But this was weak. Team worked together for the dub though
That was a very realistic game of warzone if you ask me.. It's very very clear how big of a difference there is between a squad of good players like you guys and a squad of "streamers" with walls. You have an above average kill game but nothing crazy because you need to keep outdoing yourself.

MW2 Weapons in MW3' i use them with inflicting Wound Rounds or overpressure rounds its like I have too bro its the only way

All MWII guns have that much recoil. So you just gotta play it like in WZ2.0 (MWII era). Don't go for really long range fights you would engage with MWIII weapons, instead get closer yet not close enough for SMG's to destroy you.
It ain't meta but it ain't half bad neither.
