Lynda Carter is an American actress and singer, best known for being Miss World USA in 1972 and as the star of the DC Comics TV series Wonder Woman, which lasted from 1975 to 1979.
That beautiful smile and those piercing eyes. She was more than just her looks though. She played Wonder Woman exactly how she was created in 1941. She gave her a voice, heart and soul. She had love, passion, caring and a commitment to defend humanity from it's own stupidity and recklessness. Wonder Woman had an unbreakable faith that humanity could still change its ways for the better. She showed that you can be strong and still be feminine. That you don't have to be a victim and you can defend yourself. She was an inspiration to young girls to reach higher than just a beauty salon and taught young boys (at least me) to respect women as people. I went right from the crib to watching Wonder Woman. I was almost 3 when the pilot aired in '75 so my earliest memories from tv was watching strong women. It wasn't abnormal to me. She set the tone and Lindsay Wagner followed in The Bionic Woman. There will be other actresses who played her and will play her but no one will ever BE Wonder Woman again. Lynda Carter IS Wonder Woman.
@@Aurochhunter From what I've seen/heard, she has much the same mentality about health as Ming Na, eats right, stays active, etc. Granted, she's a good bit older than Ming, but still, she has definitely aged like a fine wine!
Just one time! One time,...to sit with her and share a cup of coffee? I would never have to travel the world, or anything else. I would die a man who had fulfilled one dream.
Beautiful Linda carter, the best ever wonder woman

Yeah, she had heels in Wonder Woman, as Diana was eye to eye with Kal and Bruce, but Linda is still tall compared to the average woman today.
