The last few weeks, Ive been binging all the Lite Brite videos from the first one you guys posted. I love watching the progression of camera work, editing, driving skill, spotting skill, and just EVERYTHING. This one is a large step up, (with the drone and action camera footage at the end especially). I want to skip to your newest video, but Im also enjoying the ride and the progression of the vehicles. Keep inspiring!

Two observations: when you're at Sand Hollow remember your whip flag... they'll write you up if they catch you without it. And, you can get 2LO by unlocking your hubs. A hassle for sure, but it's possible. Great vid, glad you're enjoying Southern Utah!
Oohhh yeaaa those drone shots were dope and the shot with the mountains and lake in the back as it was spinning were sick. You guys should totally do an outro where the drone comes up to the front of the jeep, you stop, come out out of the sunrider, and do your exit stuff. Dope vid

Uwharrie!!! NC has mountains, Uwharrie National Forest, and Jeep beaches to explore. You may need to plan to spend some time here in NC. Be careful though, most people who visit for any period of time end up moving here. I moved from Long Island, NY 20+ years ago. Plus it is a 2nd Amendment friendly state.
WOW. You guys were in Massachusetts before Christmas. That’s Amazing all the miles smiles and changes! I would have loved to see the angle indicator on the dash. Just amazing!
My 2008 Hummer H3 and I go off-road alone. Recently I was crawling over deep ravines and damaged the wheel bearings to my right rear wheel. It was scary as I was about 7 miles from any road. Luckily I was able to baby the drive out of the desert. Stay safe & thanks again for sharing :|
I was there last year when David @6:56 happened I am just out of the frame taking the 33" tire route. There was a moment I thought the big green machine was going to roll onto me. Glad it didn't roll.

My Jeep is the Overland edition WJ. Full time 4x4 and 4 low only. Now I see how having 2wd as an option is beneficial in some situations so now I gotta swap out my transfer case. Thanks now you're gonna cost me more $$$$$ LOL JK. I bought a 242HD transfer case and upgraded drive shaft to install like a week ago and now this video came out. Nice weekend project coming soon.
New equipment is always fun to get use to. ( settings and buying right SD cards ) So many things to remember LOL. Great drone work for your first go at it on you channel. As always great work.
I do see a time coming when you need a videographer for more video of Brit inside the StepChild with Kevin, and a dedicated drone pilot to get everything from that perspective. Drones can do amazing shots down low angles also.

Have to say I wheel solo all the time and I didn't see anything in this video of why it's bad idea 🤔. You just have to be careful and make sure you have the right line 🤙
So...With the torque of the Hemi and the grip of the Milestars...it's AMAZING how well Step Child performs... (Ok...fine...suspension upgrades probably helped a bit) Anyhoo...nice solo romping! 👍
Unfortunately, trending videos tend to be ones that appeal to the majority of the population. The reality is, that the majority of people are not interested in Jeeps driving off road.
Another great video! I love just watching the suspension on Stepchild articulate, and those Milestars Flex. Also, I love the in-car footage of you guys flying across the sand! Stepchild sounds amazing, like a trophy truck. Now that you have a support rig, you guys should get a set of paddle tires for the rear of Stepchild. I'd love to see you roosting up dunes on paddles, haha.

Same. I wheel solo, but it makes me more cautious to try certain things. This year I got a CB, one to be jamboree compliant, and two I hope it might make spontaneous groups more possible at the park.
HAHA, the fender smash was great. I just installed new flairs yesterday, went on the trail, by myself, and got myself in such a mess and completely destroyed one. Nice work!
@ 18:00 you coulda had ur spotter (aka Britt) unlock the front hubs and do the 2wd low dig. Then re-lock once you’ve picked your line, not ideal but it might help not stressing out the trans so much.. love the vids keep up the great work LBN!
So have to ask, how often do you find yourself needing lockers? And when you do how often do you need front and rear? Debating on doing just a rear locker.
Definitely rear, if you're not going to do both. When climbing up an obstacle your trucks weight is going to shift to the rear because you're climbing up. Your rear axle is going to be doing a lot more work than your front and that's where you'll need that traction from the lockers.
Start with one locker, and see if it gets you were you want to go. But, for the wheeling Kev and Britt do, lockers front and rear is the only way to go.

I've seen that last part crawled by buggies. You have to pinch the tires between the walls and the driver tire climbs that near vertical wall. I'm impressed you even attempted it.
Question; You guys ever find any water accumulating in the Step Childs jack storage area under the rear floor below the rear window ?? We had an old water dog named Guppy that accumulated water at the rear, then he'd get to scratching hisself..........

Wheeling a moderate trail solo is a much different thing then wheeling a 9 rated trail solo. However. the new suspension is doing a wonderful job and shoehorning that JL through KJ wide trails is both painful to watch and impressive! Love the drone footage.
Since Kevin has a background in offroad recovery was super bummed you didn't have go visit the Winder towing guys. Would've been cool to see you all work together

Watching Kevin drive is amazing....he really has mastered the slow as possible but fast as necessary, and still have fun with the go pedal...

Unlock the front hubs and you’ll have 2lo. Not as easy or quick as an atlas but it will work.. great job using it as a jeep!
