I get it. If that was my father, and these were all tests previously done, I'd want an answer as why they should be done again. If the dr gave a valid reason (other than saying he was "thorough"), I'd be ok with it. Like she said, a spinal tap is no walk in the park and I certainly wouldn't want my father enduring one (or a second one) just to appease a new dr on the job when he could just look at the results of one already done.
patty1977 OMG I LOVED the whole Rick and Monica s/l! The scene you're talking about, was that at their 'love nest' on the waterfront, where Alan eventually followed them to with a gun? Actually my favorite scene of theirs was after the Kerkorian surgery when Rick left (can't remember why) and Monica followed him to the Port Charles Hotel I think. That's when they (mistakenly) thought AJ was conceived. I haven't been able to find that scene except in flashback. Now from what I heard Leslie Charleson (Monica) was not fond of Chris Robinson (Rick) at all. He eventually served time in federal prison (tax evasion I think?). But he was an amazing actor as was LC. Also LC and CR had an amazing passionate scene during the Quarantine. I think Monica fled the hospital and Rick followed her to that cabin (?) with the fireplace. They almost did it but Rick decided to remain faithful to Leslie. Now as for Erica's first husband I don't remember a lot of since I started watching when she married Tom Cudahy but now you have me curious lol

I was 16 at the time and STILL have never been kissed like that till this very day. Remember when he hugged Monica and they showed the view from over his shoulder when tears were in her eyes, when she said, oh Rick, thinking about the times that she missed him, and he was finally there. Yes, we are thinking about the same scenes, and when rick got back to the hospital Leslie ran and hugged him cause something went down with Laura? (can't remember what though) And when Monica got to the hospital, she saw rick sitting with Leslie hugged up, but looked back and up at Monica bewildered. And confused as what to do next, cause he couldn't offer Monica an explanation at that time? and Monica said to someone, Excuse me, is everything alright? and that person, (cant remember who) told her that some tragedy happened Laura. i just can't remember what, though. so see we're thinking of the same scenes.Right? when i saw that actor (Rick) on Perry Mason a few months ago. At least, i think it was Perry Mason. well, it was one of those old shows I watch at night on MeTV. LOL. anyway, when i saw him, i became instantly infatuated with Him. what can i say, i'm a hopeless romantic. lol.
