Seeing this after the fact, but enjoyed it nonetheless. The beetles were my favorite. The screen printing seems almost magical. The gold that popped through made the fabric gorgeous. Made me think of Egyptian scarabs! Lovely enough for the Pharaoh.
Congrats on your accomplishments. Thanks for taking the time to film, edit and share here. That had to be a huge job on top of your already crazy schedule.

so much to comment on! I loved the way the shiney gold fabric turned out! So fun to see the bee on the purple allium (globe shaped flowers) and then see bees in your plaid- with some purple, of course. You were also wise to go get brighter yarn for your weaving projects! Bravo!!

Congratulations!!! Very excited to continue watching your textile journey. I really love seeing the things you create, especially the screen printing, which has just blown my mind. Sad that you won't get to do more for another year or so! (Also I *NEED* that purple bedding set so bad, it's so pretty and floral and PURPLE.) Also it's been really nice to watch the seasons change in the background of your videos as you revisit a lot of the same places over the year.
Wondering if you plan to play with some of that 30 meters of fabric from last year over the summer -- but I'm excited for anything you end up pursuing! Congratulations again, this year has been a ton of work and I think we're all thrilled to see you achieve such an accomplishment. 🎉
Oh my gosh, you are so sweet!! Thank you so much 🥹💕 I totally fell in love with screen printing and can't wait to do it again. I think my next class is titled something like "Screen Printing on Silk Scarves" which sounds like SO much fun!

I just thought of you moments ago btw since I am registering to Doily free zone which is a symposium with lots of different techniques and approaches to lace making and thought you would enjoy it. Do you ever see a printed fabric and picture a pattern/finished garment for it? I'm a pretty novice sewist/seamstress, but the stripe-ish/necklace print from your screen printing bug & brooch collection, I keep picturing as a blouse with a center seam and the fabric connected on the bias to form a V with relaxed shoulders and cinched sleeves. I hope that doesn't come across as rude as I'm sure you have your own ideas for the fabric, but I see so much potential with it and love that your professor does too! ♥️♥️♥️

Oh my gosh, you are so sweet!!! I really want to figure out how to have my designs printed on fabric, but that's been tricky since I printed everything with metallic inks.. now that I've seen the designs printed in glitter, I won't settle for anything else 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you SO much!! ❤️

I have been watching since before FIT, so of course I will be sticking around! I do miss your beautiful longer hair, but I am sure shorter is easier to take care of.
I definitely needed the change, especially in the wintertime.. I grew up in an area with ZERO seasons so when it got cold here in NYC, I had no idea how to deal with hair that I would normally just let air-dry 🤣❤️

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean? I am a textile/surface design major which includes weaving, screen printing, painting, photoshop, etc. as a means of creating textile designs 😊 There are opportunities for work in industries like apparel, home textiles, contract textiles, paper goods, research, and more!
