I have been a long time supporter of AIG since the CSF days (30 something years) and of the work at the Durupinar site and I have concluded that there is some kind of vendetta by those at AIG with PhDs against the amateur Ron Wyatt. It feels very similar to me to the response to the amazing work that has been done on The Shroud that demonstrates that a scourged, crucified man died 2000 years ago in Jerusalem, was buried in the Shroud and came to life in great power. Many still treat it as insignificant or refuse to accept it. Similarly with the ark. What amazes me, if you go to google earth and look at where the Ark shape currently rests, it's at the juncture of 3 separate mud flows, that converge just above the site of the Ark........and they form the shape of the Hebrew Shin - ש - just like the 3 valleys around Jerusalem - the only other Biblical site I am aware of where the aerial topography appears to have this shape. Like God's sign-post - like he's saying LOOK HERE!

The pointy end of the Ark being up and the ground penetrating radar scans of right angles and parallel lines, being ignored by them is reprehensible.. Furthermore, the location of the drills were inside the outer frame of the boat, so missing wood a mere four times in those drills, doesn't prove anything. They ignore the metal detected years earlier at regular intervals and in lines as well. A really weak job by them. But not by Andrew Jones, who clearly defended the case convincingly! Awesome work brother! Lastly, since the bible says mountains of Ararat, plural, the last place in the mountain range I would expect to find it, is on the mountain itself.
Andrew, a couple of things i want to point out 1 is Ron Wyatt talked about finding these anchor stones, and took pictures of them and i seen video's of them, and 2 Ron Talked about the type of metal found in the site and said it was iron and some other metal mixed, my point with this is Noah was before they built the pyramids so if this metal is there, it means there is a good chance they used this kind of metal to cut the stones to build the pyramids, one other thing i just thought of, Maybe that stone was ballast for the Ark

AIG ceased to be an apologetics ministry in the early 2000s when they had the big split and Jonathan Sarfati left. They stopped trying to convince with evidence, and now instead use "trust me, bro".
Rock's were often used for buoyancy to prevent vessels from turning over regardless of the load. Perhaps that can be what is remaining from the Noah's vessel after the structure collapsed in time. Remember too! Noah had only one chance during the first launch of the Ark and that took place during the initial flood. Noah didn't know if all the weight from the animals that he loaded on to the Ark would be too top heavy, so building the Ark around the rock being just resting on the lowest part of the center keel would help stabilize the Ark to stay up right during the flood. Just a thought!
A small wooden fishing boat from Yeshua's time on earth. They say it's 2,000 years old. It was accidentally found in water in the mud. It was a boat that the disciples would have use to go out & catch fish (it wasn't their boat). Thanks for this information. Having minored in geology, and being a geographer (photogrammetrist) it appears this site is a mudflow formation. But that doesn't mean it could not have taken shape around an existing structure like the ark. I do believe most of the wood from the ark will not be found because Noah's sons and grandchildren would have used it to build shelter before migrating south east to shinar. One question. Skeptics say that the metal detectors were cheap and unreliable. The patterns found were wishful thinking. Do you have any response to that? So first I do think people don’t realize what a decaying ark would leave behind or how it could affect the soil on the surface, etc. Just like how we see Viking burial ships, Roman ships, and other wooden boats decay and change the soil around them. Second in regards to the wood being all used up during the time of Noah and sons I would disagree with that as many ancient historians up to and past the time of Christ write about the ruins of the ark still being around. And finally in regards to the metal detector model used for that one type of survey done on the ark it was the top Whites Electronics model at the time that they used as the company donated 2 to their project. I would need to research what model it was though as all that the Wyatt’s book says is “He contacted White’s Electronics in Sweet Home, Oregon and explained his project to them. He had learned through his research that their deep probe metal detectors had the reputation of being the finest in their class. The company responded favorably to Ron’s letter and shipped him their top two models.” (Pages 57-58, The Boat-shaped Object on Doomsday Mountain, by Mary Nell Wyatt) It’s just one thing to consider along with the GPR, ERT scans, shape and chemical tests done there. The mud-flow formation theory is not possible in this case. Because of how fluid dynamics work - the pointed end of a natural mud-flow formation would be 'pointing' in the same direction as the mud flow is traveling. However, this site is the opposite as the pointed end is facing up the hill. Sorry but the mud-flow theory cannot be correct.
The guy in that video was a bs artiste par excellence! This was a master class in how to sway opinion in a certain direction without ever really talking about anything real! Agree, Zero evidence and I've looked very hard but nothing is there that supports the biblical Noah's ark at all, nothing.
At the end of the day, it doesn't matter, the story of Noah's flood is what's important.
