@@GrindHardPlumbingCo love seeing the boys from Idaho do some cool stuff. I’ve got an old American Lafrance fire engine like you guys just with the diesel and a couple years newer
Ok I know you probably only get to read a 1/3 of these comments but u guys need to replicate the Deniskrik version of the 3 three snowmobile. It had single ski with 2 tracks. The made one kit for 3 wheelers and one for quads. They both suckec but was coolest thing in early 80s. Lol
The quad looks like a ton of fun. If you will put a steering stabilizer on the quad it will help with the sudden turn of the handlebars when you're leaning hard on one ski or when landing from a jump. It'll help keep the bars from whipping in either direction and most are adjustable so you can still turn fast without the snap, and a rekluse clutch will eliminate your clutch issue. Looks like a blast, have fun and remember "safety 3rd"
I've raced/ridden motocross since I was old enough to make enough money to buy/finance a late model mx bike. For me riding at your local non-sanctioned practice track is the best smile-to-$ ratio out there.. I must say though; those snow bikes look so much frickin fun!!!!!!

Nice work fellas! Looks fun! If you could make that independent suspension articulate to adapt to sidehilling and carving (think Yamaha Niken)..that would be pretty darn interesting!
I also would love to see Niken style front suspension mounted on a snowquad or a bike. Would be interesting to see if there is any advantage to two skis and more floatation.
you know when you wake up and someone ask you if you had a good dream or not? and when you do wake up you really can't remember the details of the dream if having any... Honestly the Outlaw kind had the Polaris IQ look going for it and clearly it works amazing!! That’s a genus combination!!! You guys are on to something here for sure
I think the Timberquad would shine hauling stuff up into or down out of the mountains. I think the stability and ground clearance might even give it an edge over a snowmobile. That is if it was bigger stuff or game where balance makes a difference.
I’ve been following her UA-cam for quite a while now and it’s incredible how far you guys have come and built such practical machines and actually show them being put to work in real life situations and al lathe way down the fab work! Would love to ride with y’all some time! I need to get a toy again! Let me know if you ever tour to Washington state!
I think you're onto something here. I feel like snowmobile manufacturers might rethink their design a little bit. Anyway, How about maybe some side boards to be able to shift your weight better and "Wrong foot forward" for sidehilling. Also maybe a "Pan" or skid plate along the bottom to "Plane" better in the deeper stuff. I love what you guys are doing. Keep tryin things out and modifying existing stuff to see what could be done. LOVE IT!
@@6literbeater10 Yea I saw that, but I'm talking about something you could just bolt on and swap easy as the seasons change. They did a lot of work to that sled to put wheels on it. Swapping the quad between sled and wheels seems a lot easier, and making it a reverse trike would keep the handling similar between the two. That or put 2 wheels on the rear in line sort of like the track. Saw someone else do that once before on a different bike project.
@@whitepawrolls ahhh yeah the timbersled bolts on so you can swap out between seasons there's nothing special about thease kits been around for a while

You should try the timber sled kit on a banshee and see if it give it a more sled like speed and maybe a skid plate under the bike to make it float a little better in deeper snow and better handling while on a side hill
