Im sorry, im learning english, my native language is Spanish but the interviewer said to Selena "You can not succeed in life until you succeed with yourself". And Selena was like: "Im not sure if i agree with that". I think that was because she was "succeed" in life, since she was a child working from a young age for an amazing company as Disney but she didn't feel herself succesful as a person in her private life. I think she also wrote in some lyrics that her toxic relationship with Justin was also because her low self esteem and she has been suporting groups against children's work because she did since she was 7 years old and also spent some part of her childhood just working. Do u agree ?

I can relate to this so much ... for the past 1 1/2 to 2 years now I’ve been going through so much, but this last year was brutal. I was so hard on myself .... I did things I never thought I’d do. Fighting addictions because I wanted to forget this person and forget everything and not feel anything was stupid. I had been unhappy for so long, but recently it hit me I can’t change anything I can’t force things. I’m in a better place now. I’m not 100% there but I’m getting there. Thank you Selena.

17:57 i know what she's talking about. about how all of us want to succeed, we put so much pressure on ourselves. and at the end of the day whats success? success is different to everyone
And ya know that comes all of us falling under the pressures of and being brought up under social influences generation after generation.
Go to school get good grades, go to college, get married , maybe a job maybe not .
That goes for almost everything we are taught as children . I have tried to steer my son in a totally different way of looking at things. Especially when it comes to a Careers. Work for yourself not a big company that in many ways has control over your destiny.
. He chose to go to college with no forcing from our end and even told him under no circumstances do we want him to keep going after giving it a good go that he had to stay there thinking he had to or we would be disappointed. College isn’t for everyone and there s many many very successful and also million and billionaires that never went or completed college.
In no way during his younger years did we just let him quit things he joined because he had a bad day or things got tuff. Reading many blogs, Dave Ramsey articles and others on college and most kids change their major many times and still end up after graduating not being able to get a job in that field of do something totally different.
Also hearing many get very depressed because they are just there for the parents and not wanting to have them be disappointed and how many are there where they basically were talked into their career. By parents started out when they were young pushing a certain career. All for their own recognition to be able to say my son or daughter is going to be a lawyer, doctor, dentist and they are freaking miserable.
I say this very lightly and really not wanting it to happen literally but... gonna say it anyway and hopefully those who read it, if any , will understand that I don’t wish it on anyone but....
after you experience an illness that completely changes your life the way it was ...you really do see things in a totally different way. Things you thought were important are SO NOT any longer. Things you thought you always needed were clearly wants or felt you should have from social pressure because everyone else has one. You don’t care about them at all. If everyone could some how have a look at themselves like through a future mirror of some sort ,I think the world would be a much better place to live because the most importance would not be in success, n or things
