I'd like to hear Ren cover whatever he wants to cover, coz I like surprises 😁
Ren gets a lot of props for how well he does reggae, but I love this even more. The grit in his voice and how much emotion he always puts into his performances is just fricking perfect for grunge and rock. I need more! Can’t wait for the album after Slaughterhouse (and maybe more depending on what our ADHD boi feels like 😅) where he’s planning to go more Brit pop and rock. Give me that raw singing!
Also I totally agree with you about watching a full Nirvana covers set from Ren 😂 But also if we’re going more down the rockier realm for covers… some Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, or maybe The Cranberries. Like could you imagine Ren doing a Rendition of When You’re Gone? I think he would make us all cry 😅
Also while thinking about what would be interesting to hear Ren take on, Linkin Park jumped into my head. I don’t know if Ren can even do actual metal screams (the closest we have heard is probably in Crutch), but he could probably master it if he felt like it with his obsessive nature, and I am curious to at least hear him do the cleans in an LP song. He can certainly bring the raw emotion to any song so has the potential to be epic…
Yessss V !!!! Nirvana was my brother's favorite! Kurt was a one of a kind, but I LOVE seeing and hearing Ren perform this one! He does it justice!

Snake, Ren absolutely 100% has to do a properly produced version of this track it is my favourite Nirvana track. Makes me cry to hear him sing this. It drips and oozes heart. How much does Ren deliver.
But I really need before I die, I am desperate in fact for Ren to do a mash-up with or an alternative cover of ‘High and Dry’ by Radiohead. I know Ren would do a phenomenally amazing job of bringing new meaning to this track and a whole new level of feeling, in the same way as he did with the Fred Again Mash-Up.
What I can’t believe is this was right before he left for Canada! Can you imagine if he tried to just busk now? I have a feeling the crowd response would be a bit more animated (I would lose my shit!!!!) and they’d be filling the whole square!!! Always love your reactions man! ❤
