In their defense, being told I am pregnant when that has absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand is exactly what I would expect from the American health care system. So theyre definitely a human doctor
Let me tell you, women can't get any dang medical treatment in America without at least being asked 15 times if they're freaking pregnant and having to provide a urine sample.... The day after I got in a car accident I went to go get my shoulder checked out because it was sore, do you know what they asked me a whole bunch of times? If I was freaking pregnant or if I could be pregnant and they just kept harping on that.... I AM HERE FOR SHOULDER PAIN. Eventually after I had been asked that question several times I'm like "can you get pregnant without having sex?" The nurse looked at me confused and said no then I told her "okay well unless I'm the Virgin Mary I'm not pregnant" 😑
Honestly, health care as a woman is loony. I was called to come into my doctors office in person during C0VID, when they were only doing telephone. I was having severe obsessive thoughts and delusions that I was sick and could not eat, or bad things would happen. At one point, it was so extreme I ate like 2 pieces of toast over a period of 4 days. Tell the doctor everything while sobbing, and get referred for a psych eval after he told me he wanted to see me in person to see if I had to be admitted to the ward. Psych eval had to be split up into two separate 2 hour appointments because I had so much going on. I go to the second appointment, and they throw my file at me, and ask why I would lie about everything. I looked, and the doctor only wrote I was concerned I was pregnant. I mentioned pregnancy ONCE during the initial appointment, because I said it's also an obsessive fear of mine, but that I'm a virgin, on 99.99% effective birth control, and took a test so I'm not worried about that. Luckily, my mom was with me and literally SHOUTED at that team of psychiatrists while all I could do was cry. It makes so mad to this day, I wish I had reported BOTH of them. RIDICULOUS. I luckily have a phenomenal care team now, am on meds, and in therapy so I'm doing better. But yeah, it's a joke.
@Rose-ghostsnflowers I understand how you feel. It's aggravating at the best of times, and enough to make you seethe at the worst. The best thing you can do is learn how to be loud. Ask for written denials of tests, question why, ask how they want you to manage what's currently wrong and what *they* will do if that doesn't work. Never stop any of those. Just keep repeating and repeating. I can't guarantee it will work all the time, nor that it won't make you more aggravated. But never be complacent with what they tell you. Make noise, be your own advocate if you have no one. That's how I finally got diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. I wish you luck on the journey up ahead, friend. Amy, I really appreciate the amount of work you put into your videos! I feel like every upload you deliver something completely new, and it tops the previous upload😀
Keep going! 😴
This is the most human video in the multiverse! Best *HUMAN* doctor ever 👍
Please, Amy Kay ASMR. You are our only hope.... for tingles. 👽 😌 ❤ Well done, and keep up the great videos.
what
@RenardoSilvao my inner star wars nerd coming out there. It's a reference in the opening she has to star wars. Leia's message in R2D2.
@@raymondstrayer1699 i see thanks for explaining
I have watched this so many times I love this one. I hope this character comes back!!
it’s just always a great day when amy posts
How - how do you get through these without laughing? I couldn't even make it past you trying to put on the gloves, oh my god. Thank you so much for sharing your humour, cleverness, and top-notch asmr with us~
i was holding it together until the 'we must free it from its shell' moment. an absolute icon
You and Musing Mira would be a wonderful collab.
MY FAV SERIES, THANK YOU ❤️❤️
The acting in this 🤌 the makeup 🤌 this video is hilarious 😂 definitely one of my favorites from you!
Why is no one talking about how nice the rain is!?
“I am ready 😏😒👐🤲🤝👏👊👊👊🫷🫳👋” took me out
this is actually just what it feels like as a woman going to a male doctor tbh
Alien: you are not staying? of course.... of course you are not....i am the doctor...
This is also every med resident on july 1st lmao
i love how creative you are! you never fail to amaze me
SCRUBS!!
I love that show 😭
(Fun fact I’m named after one of the characters!!)
@@eandaandbya man! The one and only!!
Thank you for background sounds! 🙏🏻🫶🏻
You were talking about Dragon Age in your latest quirky girl vid, have you played Bioware's other game series, the Mass Effect games? Space, sci fi, aliens, you would love it :) If you did play the Mass Effect games, can we ever expect an ASMR based on it in the future?
Oh thank goodness, i feel so safe, only a real expert doctor would be familiar with Needs Mouse Bites To Live Disease
This is hilarious and relaxing, thank you
idk if this means much cuz anyone can say it but you truly are my FAVORITE asmrist as of right now
love your sense of humor
Me who actually works in the medical field internally screaming "PLEASE GET THIS PERSON TO A REAL HOSPITAL"
She looks super natural and not at all sporadic and confused while putting on those gloves 😁👍
i'm suprised she's so nice if House was part of her training😊
I think this is the one and only time that someone on the internet has gotten me to meow or bark
THIS ASMR IS PLEASING TO MY HUMAN EARS.
I want amy to create an entire series of this alien saga, like in parts. And just like movies the story must go further. A lotta UA-camrs have done it, I want amy to do so
This reminds me of resident alien on Netflix! I love it!! ❤❤❤ you did great!!
Hope you had a great weekend Amy thank you for the video as always ❤️
hello John
i had a good weekend
So glad to see the house mouse bites post referenced here
I could watch a whole series of just this character working different jobs to further study the humans. She's hilarious 😂💙
I absolutely love this series ❤
I love your ASMR so much! I don’t know if you’re into musical theater or not, but if you are, you would absolutely rock a “Ride the Cyclone” asmr of Jane Doe or Ocean!
It's giving Resident Alien, and I love that. This video is just too good
"Humans have long wheels" had me in stitches.
you would be PERFECT for a roleplay as Queen Alicent Hightower from House of the Dragon!
I, too, learned everything I know about medicine from Scrubs, House, and the Anatomy of the Grey.
🤣
I love the alien operating like Dr House
The medical board and the first diagnosis always being wrong
Edit: OH MY GOD SHE BROUGHT THE RAT BITES INTO THIS I AM ROLLING 😂😂😂😂
The struggle to open the bottle 😭
This poor, poorly disguised alien
Everywhere I go..I see the rat bites House M.D meme..
Anyways House M.D was and still IS peak. House limped so Grey's anatomy can run 🗣️ I can see so much of that House inspiration in the video, had me pointing at the screen whenever I saw a reference to one of the episodes
"anatomy of the grey" killed me XD
i pray one day u make a starfire asmr rp
The "you are pregnant" made me laugh so hard i was NOT expecting that 😭
