I heard Pastor Simmons preach at a COGIC church in the city I was living in at the time. I really enjoyed hearing him speak and felt God's anointing all over him. To hear that he died is kind of heartbreaking, but I know he is getting his crown and rewards from God for a job a well done down here.
After looking at all the bishops and then the folks in the front row we can't see...that was a shoutin 12 hour homegoing. But Prophet Simmons is worth every second.
Good God Almighty. RIP. Thank God for your life. Your legacy lives on, I'm sure. The preaching I heard was pure, raw and the truth. Thanks be to God for it all.
I loved how U played the excerpts from his prior sermons......I believe he knew he was prophesying to himself. I miss being there at The Citadel listening to him preach. Truly he was a good man....
my sentiments exactly...i didnt kno anything about him until after he went home....then i began to find out about him thru his sermons on here....and i mean wow...so unfortunate he passed....i wanted to meet him too :)
I did not know this man. I never heard him preach. I didnt know his movement, but in the last 10:42 I have come to understand that he was a great, wonderful and well loved man. I love this church and would one love to visit if I am ever in its state. This has touched me and has made my day.
