It's interesting to see how tall Steve Kerr really is. Because he was surrounded by freakishly large fellow NBA players he always looked so small. In reality he's a solid 6'3" and pretty ripped and athletic.
This dude has unbeliveable luck. He played with the GOAT. He played with the all time Spurs team he has now coached the all time regular season 73 win team and won 2/3 (nearly 3/3) of the last couple championships. He has the two best shooters who ever lived and a generational talent in Durant and an enforcer in Draymond. His father died of a tragedy but after that his pops definetely has been watching over him from beyond.
Some of it's luck. But Steve Kerr has also worked his ass off. Plus, you gotta respect the kind of man who would take a swing at Michael Jordan at the height of his career.
lol I didn't notice that until I saw your post. Yes he certainly was doing that. I think that's why he gets along with most people. He adapts to who they are when communicating with them.
David K It's subtle. He was originally going to sit back in the chair and then noticed the guy talking was leaning forward when he began to speak. It would've been kinda weird if Kerr was sitting way back while other dude was leaning forward and talking to the camera. After he adjusted his seating, it helped him get engaged in the talk more. That's my 2 cents.
No, kiyonexus, he is right. Steve Kerr is a pleaser type of person. He was clearly trying to match his body language to please him and get along. A lot of people do this.
Kilborn actually did ok here. Only about 1 in 1000 civilians could possibly beat Steve Kerr at 3 point shooting retired or not. Kerr literally survived almost 15 years in the NBA because of his exceptional shooting ability.
bro the angles of the camera within this video made me realize how far the court actually is from the three point line bro lol I've always had respect for legendary three point shooters and I always knew it was far but the angles in this video man god fucking damn.
Actually, if you play on the court, the 3 point line is actually closer than what we perceive on screen. You only have to adjust your power a little bit when shooting from 15-17 feet. The only problem is that, wrong angles and power gets amplified more as the ball travels further, making it more difficult to actually sink the ball to the basket.
I played amateur/semi-pro level basketball in Europe as SG although I am only 1.78/5'10''. My jumpshot was as high as a 1.92/6'4'' guy's so I only got blocked by my G/SF opponent defending the perimeter ONCE in 10 years. Anyway, the 3 point line in Europe was too close for me so I started shooting from 2-3 meters behind that line. There was one player in the NBA in the 90s whom I emulated who shot the furthest 3 pointers at that time: Dan Majerle (I am die hard PHX fan). Of course nobody was guarding me so far out there in our games. :P And that was every sharpshooter's dream! In practice I shot around 35%; in-game I had around 40% success because I was more focused but....most of them were game winners. I called them 'daggers' because nobody else dared to shoot when the games were tied or there wasn't much time left on the clock. I loved the challenge! :D Oh, and in 3 point shootouts I was terrible. But in game, uh...I felt pity for the guy defending me.
The same Steve Kerr who came to Jordan's rescue in the 97 Finals. The same guy who got the Spurs twin towers to the next level, making him the only non-Celtic to win 4 consecutive rings. He's the white mini Robert "7 timer" Horry.

“Freakishly”
A lie, and lame
Kerr is so good at giving people shit
Jay At home
Steve did a good job executing.
"This is the first and only time I will ever wear an all-star jersey" -Steve Kerr
And he's an all-star person.
Kerr, maybe not an All-Star but definitely a Hall Of Famer. The guy has been a key element in numerous Championships with multiple teams.
@@LeFraudHasChokedInSIXFinals Nice way to put it. The same way that there are multiple-time All Stars out there who will never be a Hall of Famer.
Little did he know he will be at the All Star game, as a coach

Gray Fullbuster nah that’s all him; hardwork, passion and talent
Since he entered in 1988, he has been involved in like 25% of all the championship teams wow.

the very beginning is funny with Steve Kerr trying to match body language

Marlo Stanfield lol he did it twice. He was only originally going to sit back at first bc the other guy faked him out
no... someone else isn't very observant.

Craig Kilborn seemingly disappeared from the public eye after his show
You can see how difficult this is because Craig is huffing and puffing by HALF of the racks
hate the Warriors but Kerr is such a great person and coach
You hate 'cause your team can't even defeat GSW right?

Steve Kerr GOAT
Steve Kerr : 10 pts in 45 seconds

Dick Dale shredding Ghost Riders in the Sky👍🏻
1:12 why does every shot look wet when you dont hold your followthrough and start moving away as if you already made it before it actually does? lol
1:11 he already knew that one was going in. lmao. he left before it even hit the rim
It's really hard to hate the Warriors with Kerr as coach.
I'm pretty sure everyone beat Ainge.
Craig's shooting form exactly like Dejan Bodiroga
