Mitai Maori Village // Rotorua, New Zealand

Rotorua. Visited December 2015. This is a great cultural experience. The evening starts off with a bit of history about the Maori culture and a demonstration of how they prepare the Hangi feast (food cooked underground). Next, the warrior canoe entrance, cultural show including the famous Haka dance. After dinner, the warriors guide you through the bush with flashlights to spot glowworms in the dark.
