- Lets take a detour from the Touristy trip of Kashmir and Visit the place where we spent our childhood .The Lost Home which is now a Garden . Darkness of Terrorism burnt the house to the ground . We arrived at Rambagh srinagar and met our neighbours who remembered us as the part of their soul. We hugged , cried together asked about others who are no longer among us . Some have left, some have died some have become old and some have lost their sanity .
Feeling of Longingness was all over our faces . an astonishing look could be seen on the faces of the Locals when they spotted a Kashmiri Hindu .

When I went to my Matamal in Alikadal..all my relatives said ‘hyas ruzyiw …tyok karzi n keh…naerwan thawzi andar kun’ (be careful… don’t put tilak and hide your sacred thread’ and that was enough for me to realise how bad the situation is. But my mother walked the lanes fearlessly… and showed me her school and the lanes where from she used to go to Parbat and zeethyar. My father had purchased land in Vyacharnag and before he could construct a house they had to leave. 4 times militants came to kill my father …sometimes at his workplace and sometimes at his rental accommodation. Even my uncles were in hit-list which used to be pasted outside mosques. Somehow they survived and here I’m telling you the story.

There are two sides of everything brother .The old lady who cried after seeing my mom barely knew my mom but was friends with her elder sister,That's love for us ..but on the other side the woman who knew my family ,my mom personally did not show shred of remorse while telling us that our house was burned down back then just after we left. The very land where the house stand they bought for throwaway price because we didn have any option to sell to anyone else 🙏🏽🙏🏽. Healing wil take some time brother .it's not that easy ❤️

I cried when the music played while aunty saw her piece of land( her house)
But she is very strong, she wanted to see her house but did not stayed there for more than 2 minutes.
It was just like she gave her Dil a tasalli ki chalo dekh lia and or nahi dekhna.
She didn't even looked back or explained hew daughter in law anything.
She was holding soo much emotions.
I have moved houses as I have been in a transferable job, I still miss my old govt houses, can't even imagine her pain while looking at her home.

I was actually thinking the same but I am really surprised that most Bengali Hindus actually forgot that Bengal has already been divided once and millions of native Bengali Hindus actually became homeless and found refuge in what is called West Bengal now !! The rest became East Pakistan and later Bangladesh , it is just 70 years back! Native Bengali culture survived because West Bengal has been fortunately largely remained Hindu majority !
There is no hate between kashmiri muslims and pandits . What happened was just politics. My mom used to live in kawadara area where kashmiri pandits used to live, she once told that all this kashmir files and other absurd movies are propaganda movies. She told her stories how she used to play with her hindu friend in her childhood. Kashmiris should never be blamed for evacuation of pandits. There are black sheep present in every society and that doesnt mean the society is evil. Even I am sure that every kashmiri you ask will support the argument that kashmiri pandits should return to their homeland.

Hamare dharm mai toh cheeti ko bhi nahi martens but not everyone is that pure even in our religion. But I haven't seen a case in history where people are quoting our scriptures to justify anything inhuman or against nature.
That's why we never mention anything specifically called religion in text books dharma means rules and sanatana means eternal rules.
And anyone following that is a sanatani.
So many multi diety believing systems like Greek egyptian have been destroyed on the name of liberation and our is the only one which is oldest among all and still prevalent in large scale and that's the main reason why we are targeted because the other abrahamic religions have things that are common but our glory and past is so great that they think if we get a little chance we can recieve that glory again.

@@UnchainedWolves Mam how much every we have trouble, they always want to show as if nothing has happened and try to be in denial mode, go a step further they will tell only few people were affected and go a step further they will say we got affected too, why did you leave, you could have stayed back and all. There is a saying in telugu, you don't have to tell people to leave the place, just add smoke, they will leave.
Mam same thing happened to my grand parents, they suffered under Nizam rule because of Razakars, they used to raid villages and loot valuables and kidnap women sometimes. Once they were raiding my grand fathers area, most of the Hindus living in the area took shelter in my grand father's home, the local people requested razakars to spare us because our grand father donated a big piece of land for masjid while they asked just land for washing ng hands and feet.
Hundreds of people were slaughtered mercilessly. Women were raped and terrorized. Razakaars went up to the extent of making women play bathukamma(a festival local to Telagana people) naked. We are waiting for the time when a film would be made on the atrocities during Nizam rule.

I think the most better way to contribute to the development of society is spreading love, mutual respect and kindness rather than hatred.
There is no doubt in this fact that kashmiri pandits have suffered a lot due to the kashmir conflict but kashmiri pandits are not the only ones . Every single kashmiri had suffered in one or other way and continue to suffer.

My dad was in hit list .we used to stay at Habbakadal..you have a masjid there right ..in the main chowk?. In that lane only ..So we had to leave Habbakadal and we moved to Rambagh where my dad went underground..One of our neighbour told us two weeks later that they have identified my dad so we have to leave Kashmir ...My father never could return in his lifetime to kashmir because he never got any info if the people who had put Hitlist stil live in Habbakadal

I remember the first I heard about 1990 Genocide was in 2019 that to by Sunanda Vasishth but today the movie and videos like yours make me really know what actually happened how still people are struggling.. The feeling of nostalgia on going back or hostility in heart by meeting people there..
