Tbf he could definitely outrun whatever tf that creature is. Its legs dont look very good for running fast. Also he could probably scare it away with the fire It cant really get to him without going through the fire due to how wide its legs are and it might not even bother if it has that rabbit to eat. Hes probably got good odds of survival.
