Boston is missing it's major advantage. The Celtics have a good starting 5, but what's past that. Celtics are missing g one decent player. However they have a bunch of decent shooters on the bench. When the Celtics players get tired the Pacers will go on runs. If Boston doesn't ain't that deep on the bench. They do have some really good talent though in their starting line up.

As a Pacers fan, it’s hard to tell us fans to be bought into the “injury” excuse of the teams we’ve faced when we’ve dealt with horrible injury luck to our franchise the past 10 years: Danny Granger, PG breaks leg, Oladipo injury, squad before Hali trade, etc.

Peak form? I like Windhorts take wanting to see the battle tested, in rhythm, Pacers vs the going through the motions Cs. I like the fact the Pacers learned so much in the series vs the Knicks. As a young squad, they needed those blowout losses and lessons in the semis rather than the ecf where they can't afford to make too many mistakes.

The Pacers are the most complete and healthiest team the Celtics have faced so far in their playoff run. You can say the same thing about the Celtics in regards to the Pacers. Boston SHOULD win …. but this is now a playoff-tested Indiana team. It may come down to Pacers raising their defensive effort vs. Mazzulla’s coaching in what will likely be tight games. An efficient Boston squad SHOULD win this series in 5, no more than 6. But this is definitely a “F around and find out” series for the Celtics.
I agree. They are counting on heavy minutes from a beat up and aging front court. That might be a real problem.
The Pacers are not playoff tested 💀 they missed the playoffs from 2020-2023. If it's any team that has been tested in the playoffs and have the most playoff experience it is the Celtics, and more specifically the Celtics core of Tatum, Brown, White, and Horford.
The Celtics biggest opponent is themselves. They are head and shoulders better and a more complete team than Indy. If Boston plays their game this ends in 5 - if they mess around it goes 6.
