Thanks for the information. It is just what I needed to get started.
I just got the Black and Decker version and it's great. For smaller trees or branches, it's fun to use.
Looks perfect for those weeds that accidentally became trees
Why vertical video?
"Tool Talk with Chris Duke" is an IGTV-targeted video series. New episodes are published to UA-cam a week later in their original vertical format. UA-cam also supports vertical video, so it all works out 😀
@@chris Yes, vertical video is supported by youtube but the problem is it feels like I am wearing horse blinders, or trying to watch video through a slit in the wall. I guess it is fine for people who stare at their mobile devices that seem to be surgically attached to their palm, but not on a 16:9 computer monitor. Now, what follows is more in jest because I just could not resist. I am not trying to be mean.😊 ua-cam.com/video/dechvhb0Meo/v-deo.html
Haha that's funny! I hear you. I was against vert until IG made it more mainstream. But, as luck would have it they now fully support horizontal video with IGTV so you'll notice the last bunch of episodes of "Tool Talk with Chris Duke" are now formatted 16:9 instead of 9:16. It was a fun experiment while it lasted.
ADVICE! make sure you order a battery or two at the same time you order your alligator. I ordered this one mistakenly not realizing it was the battery version ( I wanted the electric one). Took 2 weeks to get it. Now I got to wait another 2 weeks just for the battery I needed to order. Needless to say,I cant comment yet because I'm still waiting.
I do have high hopes.
cannot afford but oml i want one!
i like it
I have a question I didn't see addressed in the book. My oil fill hole has a screw in it. Do I remove the screw or put oil on it?
Great video. I can see that guard getting in the way. I’ll stick with hand saw.
Is it true that has oil leaking and chains off issues? I want to buy it but im little worried about that
That`s soft wood,i want to see hard wood oak.
Also picked up the B&D Alligator this week, and tried it for the first time today.
Dont know how I ever trimmed my trees without it.
Chainsaw + Ladder is usually a nono, but I never felt safer cutting the top branches.
Not having to use focus or energy on sawing or manual cutting was a dream.
My only regret is not getting one of these years ago..
