I forgot to announce the winner. I strung 1490 racquets for 2022. You had the closest guess of 1600. Get me your address and I will mail out this reel.
Rad MP 2019. That Speed Pro is 2020 and it has serious flutter in the hoop when hard hitting, maybe it has something to do with the grommet issue. It's nice if hitting at max 80% power, also tried lead, didn't help, probably makes it even worse. 2018 Speed Pro was too stiff, so they made SP 2020 softer - too soft, so now finally SP 2022 is nice and stable but not too stiff, and widely praised.
Hi there! I've got a question, I string with an older Babolat VS machine with fixed clamps. Everytime I clamp the string and then release the tension from the motor the clamp goes back about 2mm and 1-1,5 Kg tension are lost. Is it normal? If not, is it because the quality of the machine or because the clamps don't work well?
The drawback of the clamps is normal. If you watch the clamps on your next pull, you should see it move back. The machine is recovering the tension lost from the drawback.
Happy New Year Herb!

@@HerbBaird Thank you for the answer! I'll pay attention next time.
That’s a very stiff frame and so it’s the string. Whoever plays with that set up at 54lb gotta be really good!
