And then this got recommended to me…boy did my life change after that. This comic dub showed me just how amazing the fandom could be with a whole lotta different content. Just imagine that they put this as the final scene of the episode "Family Appreciation Day", showing us that although Apple Bloom is proud of her family, she also misses her parents and it hurts that she doesn't have them. If they did that, the episode would be immolated and would make everyone burst into tears, even the critics of the series.
Poor Apple Bloom she barely got to know her parents and it's even sadder because The Apple Family will be unable to celebrate Mother's Day without their mom.
