I’ve seen that if you fall from really high up but fall on a slope where you instantly slide you take no damage. Maybe the same applies to the shuttle’s dome.
this happened to me except I was mining to the core and got launched through the terrain into a random cave. I was mining to the surface, oxygen nearly out, when I connected to one of my random tether lines that I made. I had to walk halfway around the planet to get back to my base, but I survived.
Here's a handy tip, if you need a resource that can be traded with scrap then scrap glow sticks a full stack produces .25 scrap but it's still infinite scrap. PC users can automate it super easily with an tapper
I checked frame by frame, and for some reason, it looks like the exact moment you pulled out the terrain tool was when it launched you. No idea how they're correlated, but I wonder how reproduceable it is?

To me happen the same thing the only change was that the rover ended up in space with me and so i lost 5 rtg and 10 qt-rtg without counting all the other risorses i had For information i was tring to awaken glacio
I just started the ses hardcore mode and after 20 hours of play time I died because I went afk and forgot to go near tether and died without finishing the game 😢
I think what happened here is that the game thought you were exiting the shuttle so when you exited the rover the game just launched you up and then moved you towards your shuttles exit point

Nah I think they just got launched up and then saved themself by spamming the "enter shuttle" key, which made them immediately exit the shuttle again since he was spamming it.
@@danielhoover5169 Yea nah with the way the play model was moving in dif directions but was going towards the shuttle ads onto my theory that is most likely true
@@IntegrityGames they said that, along with power cells are both a waste of time, but I don't know what they mean to be doing w/ graphite aside from making hydrazine. Also I use packagers for moving gravity globes so I can scrap them
