I’d certainly be interested in track guides for the Clio cup.
I’m getting there but a guide by a faster driver is always helpful.
Cheers
No problem, Ben. I will be putting together a guide to race 2 - Okayama. Hope it helps
It’s very helpful to watch a session from the fastest driver’s cockpit view. I learned a lot from doing that.
Nice to see you back. Like the Clio but my safety rating is telling me to give it a wide birth. Raced the 182 irl back in 2005/06 season so it was interesting to drive them in iracing.
Nice mate. How does it compare to irl? I'm hoping I can avoid all the drama but once the top split guys start losing iRating they'll soon get aggressive. I'll look forward to taking a few scalps ☺️
Great video! First week of IRacing, upto 1.3k doing almost exclusively MX5. Would you suggest sticking with this for now along with Clio before GT3/4? Any tips for new sim racers please to pickup speed. Loving Iracing, not a fan of ACC at present
Thanks Christopher. Well done on the iRating gain. Watch my 'How To Go Faster' in iRacing video (it's one of my recent ones) and there's some great tips in there. Good luck mate 👍
Hey! =) What is your brake valve in the start and in the end of the races?
All depends on the circuit, Luiz. If I can I always run it at 40 because I feel it is faster, if it's a right twisty track then I'll lower it accordingly. Hope this helps 💪 Good luck
@@SteelRiverSims In summit pooint I realy dont know wich use... I do the same time with 40 and 28... but I dont know wich use during long races. But, thank you!
@@Luizinhow What I've found is that I can control the nose a little more at 40, it goes where it's told easier (a bit oversteery) where as 28 would be more understeery and stiff with less body roll 🤷♂️
What level do you usually run your brake valve?
I haven't adjusted it in this video, Josh. I find the car at its quickest when the back end is 'floaty'. When I've tested lowering the number to stiffen the back end I've found myself a sitting duck on the straights. Not sure why but it appears to be slower the lower the brake valve.
That said I feel it would be an advantage on a very twisty track with quick direction changes. I'm planning to make a track guide so be sure to subscribe and I'll post adjustments I make for each circuit. Good luck with it mate 👍
What pedals are you running

Is is necessary to know how to left foot brake? (I cannot do it, there are reasons, I don't want to go into)
No, not necessary at all mate. Just personal preference. Some people prefer regular braking as they're used to it more. If anything I'd say right foot braking may give you more control 🤷♂️
