I do not understand Will there be a Kickstarter/Gamefound campaign? Will it just go directly to retail (Amazon and such)? Will it only be on their website? What about international orders?
I bought mine on preorder and i'm from Mexico so international shipping might not be a problem, also i read somewhere that it'll be on retail and their website
Love the book series and the images on the cards are great. Not sure if we get a german version (which would be very nice). The part of attacking an ally will not fit with my memories of reading the books.
even though it says you're attacking allies, you're attacking the opponent's "allies". and as long as an opponent doesn't control an ally with defender, you can go around the ally to deal the damage directly to the opponent.
You gain coins, spend them on cards on the market, which then go to your discard pile to be reshuffled into your deck when it runs out. Pretty run-of-the-mill deckbuilding.
An action card in the market that cost 9 coins and has the activated ability of 1 atium to play the top ability of an eliminated card, and a second ability to burn an additional 3 atium to win the game right there.
So you can attack for double amount damage if you have the target token on your turn? (first attacking allies and then the full damage to all characters) Or am I misinterpeting that?
Sort of. I think it means you can attack both targeted allies and enemy players (less their Defender allies) on one turn. Unsure as to whether the player themselves takes both lots of damage if they have no allies to hit, or if that first round only applies to allies though.
@nightcatarts so it's a little strange, but the important distinction here is that you can hit anyone's allies - regardless of who has the target - and as such, they are unaffected by the target, so you resolve ally combat first. Let's say you have the target and you've accumulated 14 damage. You have two opponents - Opp A has an ally with 2 defense, Opp B has an ally with 2 defense and an ally with the Defender keyword with 3 defense. Seeing as non-defender allies aren't compulsory to attack, you have two options here. Option 1) disregard the two 2-defense allies. In this scenario, Opp A takes the full 14 damage to their health, Opp B's Defender takes 3 damage leaving 11 damage to their health. Option 2) Defeat the allies. In this scenario, IF I am understanding order of operations properly, you deal 2 of your 14 damage to Opp A's ally, and 5 to Opp B's two allies, leaving a pool of 7 remaining damage that will hit both opponent's health.
@@ZD10house I don't know.. Becca said you deal the full damage to every opponent after the ally attack phase, so that does sound as though the player with the target essentially swings out twice, with no carry-over between the two swings. That makes sense, given that they can be targeted but other players can't; the token has to have some benefit as well as that cost. Remaining defenders still defend against both swings, but what I don't know is whether it really is like attacking twice (whereby you could target a player twice if they have no allies to hit) or if the first swing can only hit allies & the second can only hit defenders or players.
Brandon please i dont have time for more content from you im too busy consuming content from you
@@cloudsRniceC0M3 Brandon don’t listen to them I need more content
Been waiting for a video walkthrough of how to play. Reading the rules helps but sometimes you just need to watch it be played first!
Well this is very visually pleasing. I hope we get a playthrough; looks like a game with a lot of variety potential.
I'm so excited to look at all the cards. Yay!
The stain glass metal alphabet looks awesome
yeah, im wondering where i can get some for my office
I've already read the Rulebook, and you've done an amazing job explaining the rules, I think!
I enjoy listening to these at work.
Love Mistborn, Love Becca :)
I see Becca. I click.😊
Looks like a deck builder King of Tokyo
@@boardjamesgeek Its hard to beat Call to Adventure
Great video, helped me get the rules down fast.
This looks cool. thanks for the video!
Where do I get those stained glass pieces?
Great tutorial, thanks for putting this together!
Seconded, they are incredible!

Love it when a game tutorial starts with "we're swallowing"
Thanks, great video!
One clarification the game doesnt state is can you "sense" players once they reach the top of a track or if they are locked in at that point?
you will have a gameplay video?
Becca is like THE deckbuilding master, I swear every time I look up a How To Play video for one she's right at the top
Please do a full playthru!
I do not understand

Finally! 🪙

Allies like inquisitors and haze killers? They totally got fought by mistborn.

👋 could we see an example round of play? That would be super helpful for any “how to play” video.
Does anyone know when this game releases?
Becca, your interest makes me more interested.
So many elements to this game.
How long will it take to learn to play competently?
When is this released? I thought it was supposed to be available today
Great video. Only thing I don't get is why it is called a deckbuilding game. Did I miss any way to add cards to your deck?

@ ah, ok cool. Thank you!
whats the backroundmusic - gives me Deus Ex vibes and i love it!
What’s the “Confrontation Card” for victory? Think I missed that one.

@@ZD10house But that's still just one round of attacking, with overflow, right?
@nightcatarts that's how I read it. It is very ambiguous though and I could also be mistaken.
