Rocking the 13 now, and it’s great. USB-C isn’t an issue for me, since I charge my phone using MagSafe. I guess the cameras are better on the 15, but not gonna upgrade since I’m not concerned about my photos
This isn’t an order, just advice but I’d consider using a cable instead of MagSafe. In general MagSafe is 30% less efficient than a cable, charges your phone slower and makes your battery degrade faster. If you want to maintain your battery better, draw less power from the outlet and make it charge faster I strongly recommend to use a charger
Same here got my 13 like 2 months ago and very happy with it . All the newer upgrades are barely noticable in day to day life !!! Besides the display ..
Then again if you get the 15 you won’t have to worry about upgrading for a while since you already have a great battery and all the “innovative features” of the next few iPhones

I have a midnight color 14. I don’t see myself upgrading in another few years. The 15 is really no different, other than the USB-C that is limited by USB 2.0. So you will not get any faster speeds compared to lightning. The main camera is slightly improved, but if you compare pictures side by side, you would have to be very picky to even notice a difference. I prefer the design of the notch over the Dynamic Island, durability wise. If you have the 13, just keep it. You’re not missing out on anything, other than two less years of iOS support. Even then, Apple still has security patches even two years after the phone is not supported.
Thanks for the review. I smashed the back of my 13 and it feels a bit silly upgrading to the 15 given they are almost identical, but might as well go for the newer one for the longer support. Getting a better case for this one and hopefully it will last for years to come.

It's more annoying to see that small gap that won't even matter when you're watching a video 😂 My parents would've bought me the 15 but because of budget issues, we settled on the 13 cuz I just want to make it last until I graduate (2027). I don’t think the notch looks old at all. In fact I feel like they should have turned the notch into a camera/display instead of sticking a big oval at the top of the screen. I’ve had the 14 and 15 pro max. I’m going back to my 13. I have no reason to have a pro max. I don’t use any of the pro features and I really do not care about an always on display. And that Dynamic Island is annoying to me.

I bought the IPhone 13 (Starlight ..128Gb), and I am very happy with it! If you want to take quality pictures, buy. Canon or a small Nikon camera, and if you go into the forest, lose cellular connectivity, you should have an electronic compass or a Garmin directional hand handheld beacon ($90). If you are in the forest, lose connectivity, aiming your IPhone 14/15 for a satellite signal, it may be too late, as Bigfoot can find you quicker than aiming at the satellite!

I saw some comments that actually 15 pro has overheating problems, among others because of the titanium shell. When being in Apple Store, 15 pro was already warm while trying it out. That’s why I decided with 15 - overheating is one of the biggest, most noticeable problems when using iPhone to me.

this is the true beauty of an iphone. There's barely any practical difference with each release so you aren't compelled to purchase every single time a newer model comes out
New colors on the iphone 15 are very feminine and I just cant see guys being excited to choose any of those colors. The black would be the only pick for me since starlight isnt available. But I am disappointed in Apple for giving us 4 pastel colors that seem to be very girly

without budget the 13 pro is the better option for gaming with the 120hz display and feels really smooth, slightly better battery, and telephoto camera, but with budget the 13 is a better fit since it does everything the 13 pro can do, if you're considering the 13 pro js get the pro max

Speakers on the 15 are amazing. Thought I wouldn’t like the island but it’s actually cool. Especially when driving. Frosted back is great and no finger prints. Lighter. And love the usbc charger when I forgot mine and no one has an iPhone one. I can charge it way easier. Love the pink colour too! I’m keeping it for a few years. Oh and in Europe all of the 15 have the sim tray. So not an issue. And I also forgot a brighter screen. Which is really cool outside. I think that’s all 😂😂

upgraded from 13 to 15 plus as it battery health was dropping and it was just 83% left , so 15 plus seemed better deal as I needed a battery backup iPhone and believe that has really awesome battery , almost after 8 months of usage it came to 99% battery health so I feel its a rock solid battery backup and yeah the 48mp seems amazing
15 is more up to date and stronger overall. There are serious improvements in the camera. There is a dynamic island. Battery life is better. many more reasons. I wouldn't buy a phone that was released 2 years ago just for 120 hz.

You didn't talk about the iPhone 15's depth control, it's SOS via satellite, roadside assistance via satellite, Crash detection with updated gyroscope, USB-C port with conversion charging, the better battery performance you didn't mention the phone uses 100% recycled cobalt for it's battery, you didn't mention the updated photonic engine with portrait, night mode portrait and night mode support , you didn't talk about cinematic mode now being 4K 30 compared to 1080p on the 13 or the new action mode stabilization on all rear cameras, updated auto focus for selfie shots, all new HDR5 support for all new iPhone 15 models, witch is something you can see in fact, there you will be able to tell a huge difference 48MP camera allows for MAX res 48, MAX res 12, HIEF MAX, HIEF 24, HIEF 12 camera options lens transition for the iPhone 15 during all resolution recording. you only mentioned the thing you wanted to your very bias you were complaining a lot about the phone, especially about the refresh rate, the only reason why those cheaper phones have higher refresh rates is because they are slow and lag a lot but iPhones don't suffer from this so I don't see why Apple has to include this feature, its battery consuming and it won't make the Phone more waterproof or make it faster it won't help with anything at all if you want it so badly get the pro. I honestly don't care for high refresh rates if my phone is glitching then yeah but since it's an iPhone and they don't glitch I don't care in fact I prefer it because it saves me battery life. There are a lot of amazing features that the iPhone 15 has that the 13 doesn't but your trying to make iPhone look bad by making people only see the phone by how it looks and how weel it opens apps it's like your trying to throw people of iPhone in general and so they buy Android just because your not happy. Stop being sad and see the reality the phone does not need to change in design for it to be an upgrade stop thinking like an android user, even Samsung knows this and they have admitted that Apple is right instead of changing the look and wasting valuable time they can work on more important features of the phone and that's what Apple is doing in the internals has to compromise than they have to redesign so they can ensure that what they add won't be affected by the phones design think for once and redo this review because there are a lot of things you missed I didn't even mention half of them. Do your research because this is BS.
I have used both. 15 is reasonably better. Usb-c, better battery, better camera, a bit better processor and better in hand feel. All these together add to the user experience. However, if you have 13 already, there is no need to upgrade. And people who use their phone for 3 years or more, shouldn’t care abt 200$ diffrence if they have affordability.

If you want good pictures, buy a Canon digital camera, and as for Satellite connectivity, if you are in the first, lost connectivity, you should carry a Garmin GPS, and if you are being chased by Bigfoot, it's best to carry a gun, so the Satellite will be too late! iPhone 13 is simpler, so less to go wrong, so it's best to wait for IPhone 16...!

There is no heating problem on iPhone 15. thermally better than 13

The biggedt issue with the island iPhones is the proximity sensor, it doesnt work well with whatsapp and other apps using audio files.

I just got the 13 from apple for 300 bucks after trading in my IP 11 and using my gift card. Also got a 50 buck gift because of cyber Monday.
I have traded in my 13 mini for a 15, I love the dynamic Island on the 15 and I really love, no fingerprints on the back of the phone.

Speakers on the 15 are amazing. Thought I wouldn’t like the island but it’s actually cool. Especially when driving. Frosted back is great and no finger prints. Lighter. And love the usbc charger when I forgot mine and no one has an iPhone one. I can charge it way easier. Love the pink colour too! I’m keeping it for a few years. Oh and in Europe all of the 15 have the sim tray. So not an issue. And I also forgot a brighter screen. Which is really cool outside. I think that’s all 😂😂

both are great, i guess the main thing would be how much are you willing to spend. considering both are pretty much the same, i would go with the 13, as it's cheaper. i actually upgraded from an X to a 13 :)

I also love the older iPhone 13 over the new iPhone 15. The iconic notch is still better looking than the dynamic island IMO.
upgraded from 13 to 15 plus as it battery health was dropping and it was just 83% left , so 15 plus seemed better deal as I needed a battery backup iPhone and believe that has really awesome battery , almost after 8 months of usage it came to 99% battery health so I feel its a rock solid battery backup and yeah the 48mp seems amazing

15 is more up to date and stronger overall. There are serious improvements in the camera. There is a dynamic island. Battery life is better. many more reasons. I wouldn't buy a phone that was released 2 years ago just for 120 hz.

Stop being sad and see the reality the phone does not need to change in design for it to be an upgrade stop thinking like an android user, even Samsung knows this and they have admitted that Apple is right instead of changing the look and wasting valuable time they can work on more important features of the phone and that's what Apple is doing in the internals has to compromise than they have to redesign so they can ensure that what they add won't be affected by the phones design think for once and redo this review because there are a lot of things you missed I didn't even mention half of them. Do your research because this is BS.

I have used both. 15 is reasonably better. Usb-c, better battery, better camera, a bit better processor and better in hand feel. All these together add to the user experience. However, if you have 13 already, there is no need to upgrade. And people who use their phone for 3 years or more, shouldn’t care abt 200$ diffrence if they have affordability.

If you want good pictures, buy a Canon digital camera, and as for Satellite connectivity, if you are in the first, lost connectivity, you should carry a Garmin GPS, and if you are being chased by Bigfoot, it's best to carry a gun, so the Satellite will be too late! iPhone 13 is simpler, so less to go wrong, so it's best to wait for IPhone 16...!
