Dude, BTS rarely uses green screen when they can use practical sets… they’re BTS…. They are 100% the real deal. Watch some of the ‘making of’ Bangtan Bomb videos. Especially the Grammys and the MAMA productions for Covid. They are an education in how hard they work
I'm not an army but I love to watch BTS live performance. What an amazing performance, appreciates all the 7, they are beautiful and awesome humans in this planet ❤❤
This is a very deep song. The song is about the loss of feeling the passion of making music and not being able to resonate with what their doing anymore. Basically, it's about being terrified when they burn out by something they love most. This song is relatable to anyone. But in a way I think they are reminding themselves that at the end they only have passion for music. When Jin sings "nothing can devour me. I shout out with ferocity" I felt a strong determination from them.
This is definitely not a green screen. The Jimmy Fallon Show in 2020 aired an unusual "BTS WEEK". For five days from Monday to Friday, not only interviews and games, but also fantastic live performances every evening. And this stage was not prepared by The Tonight Show. The live stage was prepared directly by Big Hit,it filmed in Korea, and sent to Jimmy Fallon The Tonight Show. You've already seen "Mikrokosmos" Live. I hope you don't miss out on other live performances as well. Please. Thank you. 🙏😘💜
I love this song because it is so honest, while bringing a poetic depth. RM said he wrote this song because he was feeling the fear that he would fall out of love with music. RM also mentioned this fear in his interview with Pharrell Williams just some time ago. I love how honest BTS's music is and also how relatable it is💜
Since I was a kid, I loved to write, and my dad always encouraged me to keep being creative and write, no matter what. After both my parents passed (my first audience to my writing), I pushed writing to the side. The passion became overshadowed with grief. As I've been healing and coming back to writing and creativity, I found Black Swan encouraging to keep going towards that passion again.
I always feel that, for those who are new to BTS, Black Swan is the best place to start. It doesn't matter which version you see the choreo is amazing and the lyrics heart breaking. My favourite version of this has to be the PTD concert version. They had the support dancers dressed with feathers on their arms to resemble wings and they added the sound of feathers ruffling. Add that to Jin being the body of the swan in the opening of that version and it really is a masterpiece. The hand movements in this and the interaction between SUGA and Hobi are wonderful. They are all wonderful. Thank you for reacting to this. I can never hear it enough.
This was pre-recorded by BTS in Seoul since it was during the pandemic. They sang live during the performance and sent the recording into the Fallon show to be aired during his BTS week. That's how they did all the songs for Fallon that week.
The Jimmy Fallon performances were all pre-recorded but they're not lipsyncing, and yes the set was real not green screen(there's few post production enhances) There's behind the scene videos on BangtanTV that you can check on your own time if you're curious😁
Search 'BTS Black Swan The Tonight Show Behind the Scenes'. Either react or watch it on your own. You will see the background set and stage was built. Although it was a remote performance from Korea it is a live recording. You should do the rest of the 'BTS Week'. They did Black Swan Mikrocosmos Idol Home Dynamite 💜
Fun fact RM, Suga and JHope each have their own studios at Hybe. RM is called Rkive and Suga is Genius Lab which he locked himself out for 4 days because he forgot his passcode to get in lol. 💜💜💜
Thank you for sharing your BTS journey with us. I've been following since you first reacted to Juice Wrld with Suga, & it's been a very enjoyable experience watching you learn about them & see you appreciating their artistry.
The song was deep, but their breath control really amazing. I cant do that while dancing, they are the best artist for live performances. Keep safe there 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
black swan is for sure in my top5 of bts discography for so many reasons, from lyrics to performance this song is gold, once i watched the mv & after that i couldnt forget the blackswan jimin i fell for him, especialy his solo dance & the way turned the lyrics into his moves & facial expression , its crazy how is he capable of it im happy u r getting more comfortable wth ur feelings lately, i hope everyone feels the same
I don't remember if you have watched their performance of 'home' from the BTS week videos, but I would definitely recommend it if you haven't. Also I want to tell u that you do bring a little joy to my life when I get to watch u enjoy these videos (like i do). It may not be a big impact on some ppl's lives, but I just wanted to let u know that😊
I really resonate with this song. It’s not the same because I never made music but I used to love music and then wasn’t able to listen to it for about 30 years. BTS brought back my love of music and allowed me to listen again with joy. I am so grateful to them. Thank you for sharing your story. 💜
I love what you said in the end that you’re more in touch with your emotions now. I love that. I always say map of the soul : 7 the album is like a university course of psychology. And it really is. What’s amazing is that it is so insightful and educational in the most amazing form of music that can serve as entertainment as well as just enlightening the people.
thank you so much for your words and im so glad to know that youre in a better place. i also wanted to wish you merry belated christmas (if you celebrate!) and of course happy new year. may you continue living beautifully 🤍
Black Swan was my introduction to BTS in early 2021. Need I say more? I've fallen big time and deep for these 7 young men from Korea. They helped me get through the 2nd rough year of 2020-2021 and when I was questioning anything and everything I was doing or had done. Anyway, I will ALWAYS love Black Swan and so many of their other songs now. Thanks for doing this reaction and wise words at the end. Oh, and Happy Anniversary (a little late I think).
Yes! And that one was performed live at the show. I think it was their last live performance before Covid lockdown. But - Corden’s videos will definitely get blocked by UA-cam. Booooo…
Hi I am back. Good reaction, ty. I am glad BTS helped u grow. This one has beautiful deep meaning of their lyrics. As you notice like lines " It would be my first death. That's what I'm afraid of ." It has that emotional theme of an artist fear for losing their passion for what they do. With this song BTS dives deep into their inner selves as artists and faces the shadows they had once hidden. The song lends voice to their fears that one day music will no longer be able to move or touch them. The very moment they come face to face with the ‘Black Swan’ within themselves, however, they are stricken with a paradoxical realization that music is all they have. It is a confession of an artist who has truly learned what music means to himself. It's also inspired from Martha Graham, who said “A dancer dies twice once when they stop dancing, and this first death is more painful.” Now with the band on a break from group work and focusing more on solo projects (solo albums). We know this was also a hint to us that they were struggling. I hope u watch all the performers from that week. =0] Stay safe. - 2019 ARMY NY USA 💜 Jen W said on 6/7/22 Black Swan ballet: changing from white to black swan - growing up, losing innocence.
