It's kinda funny and unfortunate how some high power alliances and players choose to not create challenging matches for themselves. Seems many people in this game don't want competition, but easy wins. Personally, I prefer to be the underdog and enjoy an uphill battle to win. I would rather loose and have tried my best than win having not tried at all. I don't play games for easy pvp.
Exactly. This is on the alliance leaders. They make their bed and then whine about it. We had a great KvK because we managed to balance it very closely. The one think I take issue with is the fact that they essentially forced camp warbands. If your camp mate/s are jerks, your options are to suck it up or to fight them, and if you fight them, that puts you at a disadvantage versus the rest of the division. While we were able to balance it very well and create sustained fighting, we could have just as easily been placed in the neighboring zone and thus forced to work with our very arrogant enemy, and it would have been a miserable season.
The Devs do not consider the egos of leaders and individuals when creating kvk pairings! Its the communities fault, the leaders make it happen & members let it happen. Every merger in Gen 1 currently has the potential for a relatively fair match up. Those at the top of the food chain simply have to decide that fighting in a fighting game is fun. In theory is simple, in practice apparently not
The matchups also just suck in some instances. You have 4 alliances very close in power around the 6.5 to 7B power mark then the devs are like cool let’s add two more that hover around 12B combined power. Makes no sense at all.
Other guy mention it but i also think is easier to just buff healing in general, the moment you are out of elixir you are done, and rss are to expensive to be worth it Big difference between RoK and CoD at the end is if you really want to pvp like crazy you can have 10 farm accounts feeding your vaults to the point you can heal contantly, here like i say, the moment you are out of elixir, rss, weekly donations, etc; you are done, no more troops, no more fighting, and by then alliances just lose miserably and spend the rest of the season healing or they go the diplomatic route So... no need for anything fancy actually, just buff healing in the game
ur talking about buffing elixir when the rss healing in CoD is the same as RoK 😂😂😂and nobody does it cause its expensive AF and same in RoK as 6 year player i can tell u in RoK u fight way less but alot more strategic to make it count meanwhile in CoD u just throw units at eachother without any efficiency in mind legit 90% of players let their troops mindlessly die instead of refreshing. Biggest difference between rok and cod players is the years of experience between them and how much combat costs in RSS/Deaths they plan alot more because of it
Perhaps the devs should make each KvK a two faction war, broken down into the various HK servers. By letting players do the negotiations there is the potential for the two most powerful starting regions to join against the weakest two (splitting the Dragon and 2 Necro rewards between them), which isn't a great PvP experience for anyone, because the weakest alliances don't show up after the first 3-4 beatings.
if u force 2 faction then anomalies like noir echo or eds in their respective bracket will end up winning every time with ease as they just have too much T5 u cant just add power up and hope it works as T5 players are way more power efficient and will easily beat 2 servers with a higher combined power if there is T4 in them.
Agree with your points. My only huge concern is the devs have no incentive to do anything. With the way these p2w games work, to get any change you have to hit them with their bottom line. I mean meower quit and legit said the cs he spoke to were awesome but they couldn’t do anything because devs refused to listen. Think the devs have no insensitive to do anything besides copy paste rok things. No need to care about how players are giving feedback, no care about complaints when money keeps coming in
Really believe solution is much simples, rebalancing healing. Healing costa are too expensive and free healing os useless, therefore, people can't fight more than 2 or 3 days before get drained.
Devs completely fucked with the map, bastions, etc. They only have thrmselves to blsme if people stop playing. Its absolutely brutal to spend 30 days or more in HK. People get bored and just leave.
This is how they design the game. To frustrate you in the end. To prepare you for the new game, they will later introduce. Getting you hooked. Then disappoint you badly. Get you hungry for another game to conquer. It's business.
The biggest problem is matchmaking. It's based on power and that's crap. Matchmaking needs to be based on average player power and number of t5 players. My allience is number 2xx. Last season we where against server 3 and this season against servers 2 seasons ahead of us. Us fighting only maxed out t5 heros isn't fun. Healing is crap and players have no wish to even fight. Wining season doesn't help you beat those overpowering opponents next season.
create gigaserver -> cry to devs to raise capacity even higher to create unreachable peaks (NOIR TFS) -> make deal with the other biggest server -> get bored cause season was too easy Like what do they expect legit completely out of competition yet they wanted devs to increase server capacity even more when the servers that could use all this capacity are countable on 1 hand and then they dont even have the balls to do a 1vALL ... disappointing all this money spend to be a bunch of wussies. The matchmaking in CoD got way way better too equal sized servers consistently find eachother but then they end up allying instead of actually going crazy on eachother like the strife season we played easily was the most combat i had since S1 cause 1st/3rd allied and 2nd/4th.
