straight up, there has never been a more exciting time for bats since you started the channel. What a couple of amazing bats man, I can't believe how good they are these days.
My son plays high school baseball and has swung both of these bats a lot. They are both BBCOR 33" -3's. He feels that your bat scale is spot on for the Warstic but believes that the Select PWR has a more balanced swing than what you gave it. I am looking forward to more videos on the Select PWR to see if you change the balance scale on it.
I’ve swung both of the 32” -3 and I completely agree I think that the LS Select Pwr is like 5/10 balance and it also has a huge sweet spot and absolutely amazing sound

Looovvvee WARSTIC company. We've been using them for years. Original Hawk USSSA, to the bonesaber USSSA, then the Gunner BBCOR. Never disappointed! We prefer the Warstic batting gloves over the Bolts (yes I said it)! We also love the Louisville Sluggers! We carry both.

I have a question, you know the taper from the bone saber gives a lot more leverage and speed, what if you put a SIMILAR taper to create a similar speed and power with all the benefits of the select power???

The smash factor (ratio between bat speed and exit velocity) is probably the same between the 2 bats, so the power of the bonesaber might be the same as the select, but the x factor is that handle. Reason why i think it's important to separate x factor from overall power is because some guys might not like that handle and might actually swing a normal knob better/ faster because they're more comfortable with it, but that x factor adds bat speed and therefore adds power
Bonesaber has a better perfect zone.
I love my select pwr so much it’s like the perfect weight and I love the barrel also they haven’t changed the bat since 2020 so you can get the older one for cheaper
put this grip on the gunner if your a power hitter who likes to hang a pinky on a conventional knob give this 200 swings I almost guarantee 2 mph over your gamer you almost over swing it it's so whippy great bat hope the durability is good I do like that select tho whopper of a barrel
Did you add a big taper under the grip of your Warstic Gunner BBCOR?
Thinking of doing that for my son's Gunner. He believes a big taper gives his swing more leverage. Lizard Skins sells a good one.
We got the 2021 select pwr, but we added a Flair Knob, rewrap it. The durability on this bat is fantastic. Couple of his teammates use it it's been through two or three seasons and two or three ball clubs and still going

Will or whomever at the team is skimming comments, I have an idea for your consideration. At the end of the year, you should make a mega-compilation of hitting BP with every bat of note from the year. Basically just an extension of the award show, but all the bats are added for a 20-30 minute baseball smoke session. I think it would be a really nice watch to just see the sweetness of the best bats of the year back-to-back, and it would be a funny little blooper comp with some of the fragile/stinky bats right up the back too. Yo will, we’ve been warstic only for yrs. It is worth upgrading my son from 1 piece 2021 bonesaber to the bonesaber hybrid?
I’ve been swinging the atlas since i got it on Christmas and it is my favorite bbcor I’ve ever swung. However, I noticed the end-cap is becoming loose and i think it will break soon.

If I was still playing I would love that flared handle. I always use to flare all old redlines. I got used to them from hitting with wood bat. I tried to change my swing in high school by using different knobs to see what I found and that flare is just perfect for control being a contact hitter for me but a lot of guys don’t like it. My best friend was number one hitter he loved skinny handle and I hit number 2 but we both hit over .450 all throughout high school and travel

My friend had the 2021 bonesaber and and the end cap flew off one day, thats the only durablity issue ive ever seen with the bonesaber.

Hey Will, love your videos. I buy all my sons bats based on your fantastic reviews. I found a 2022 Louisville slugger select power bbcor for a great price.I want to pull the trigger on it but wanted to know if there is any difference between the 2022 and 2023 besides the color.I compared the specs between the two and can’t really see a difference. I’d appreciate any feedback you can give me. Your the man !

I've been swinging the Easton ALX this offseason. 10/10 can confirm it is a great bat. Due to durability issues I would take it over the Voodoo One any day.

Bought my 10yo son a USA 29 -10 PWR Select after his ALX broke. He adores it, but there are few kids at 10u that can really swing it. I weighed it and turns out the 29 -10 is actually 20.9oz. Went doen a rabbit hole. My 9yo son uses a 28in -10 919 Prime and that bat is 19.6oz. The Prime is the best -10 in USA IMO, but all 8 of my other USA bats were .5oz within their drop. I own a 29 -8 select and it was 23.6oz.
In USA the Select is king and the Prime is the -10 goat for 90% of kids.

I bough the Bonesaber Hybrid TWO months ago and now this bat has "lost its pop" or power. According to my son who is the using it for high school ball, is totally unhappy with this bat. We loved it at first but now Im not so sure about the quality of this bat.
I’m a 14 year old freshman 125 pounds, looking for a good bat. Is the select pwr a good bat for me. I’m a pretty good contact hitter with a decent amount of power. What is the select pwr comparable too?

That person in the car probably had a bit of a scare. In highschool I was on the softball team. I remember hitting one out of the park and it accidentally hit a car thankfully no glass was broken because it didn't hit a window
If you swing late like my son, 11u go with the Bonesaber hybrid. My sons at bats have changed drastically. Big improvement with bonesaber.
Great video. You should have a 3-way with these two and the Cat X Connect. That would be a much better comparison than you gave it the first time. :)
My son is a freshman in HS and was swinging a 32 Select PWR last year and just got a 33 Cat X Connect, both great bats.
Practicing in the winter in Massachusetts he says the Connect doesn't ring him up at all, which is a big deal!
The gap is getting so narrow on these bats it's going to come down to personal preference for these kids swinging them.

Composite doesn’t perform as well in colder temperatures and it takes a bit longer to break in out the box

Just got mine in yesterday! Ngl feels lighter swinging than my friends Select PWR.
The atlas just got dropped out of top for us. We have 3 on our high school team and 2 of the three have dents in the barrel. All 3 who uses them are contat hitters not power hitters. They are only used with real baseballs no pitching machine crap balls. My grandson is a power hitter freshman. 5'11" 190lbs. I was getting him a atlas glad I didn't.
