Thus is just incredible!! My fave Graves Era song by far
Thanks so much! Easily my favorite as well
There's 52 ways to murder anyone....1 and 2 are the same.. and they both work as well... I'm coming clean for Amy, Julie doesn't scream as well and the cops won't listen all night.... and so maybe... I'll be over.. just as I fill them all in... God damn I love Danzig but grave misfits really hit that's 50s vibe
@@PortlandSucksss ooh I love Danzig but most was dirty 50s vibe not as clean as Graves Era his was more pop Danzig was kinda proto metal
I think most agree.
I find that the the Danzig-era sound and the Graves-Era sound are pretty different, it's hard for me to compare and say which I like best. Saturday Night is my fave Misfits song, but you can't beat Astro zombie, skulls, last caress, tv casualty... etc.... they are just classics man. I just can't really compare them
Bruh that’s crazy that you made this, the demo of this song sounds like a 1950s old rock and roll as well. This is awesome!I had the same idea
You had the same idea but didn’t execute🤔
@@wastnTIMEwastnTIME maybe that he was about to execute his idea 😾
@@morguefestive2589 but didn’t…
He could still do it. More Misfits covers are certainly welcomed by the Fiend Club.
Best cover I've heard of this, goddang! Going on my Fallout playlist.
Thank you so much!! Makin my day over here
One of my favorite songs of all time. Love this cover.
Thank you so much!
When the lyrics are just so damn brutal
Really makes it so much more sinister with the distortion stripped out IMO
Absolutely brilliant!
Thank you!
Oh my. I found this cover nearly the halloween. Thank you. You made this hakloween more sweeter.
So glad you found it, and right before Halloween to boot!
Take me back to 2000 flash back
That's what I like to hear
Awesome job on the song one of my favorites.
Very good version of one of my favorites Misfits songs!!!
I like the original but this is much better IMO. Great job dude.
That is HIGH praise, thank you so much!!
This deserve more views.
I won't say no to more views but I'm blown away by what it's amassed so far! I was sure this was far too weird of a concept to get much traction...
@@ScottRogerMusic it's not a weird concept, it's perfect! 😊 I hope this reach the guys from Misfits eventually, I'm sure they're gonna love it just like we all did! 💕💕
@@WildeGesellen44 as long as Michale Graves doesn’t see it I’m good haha
@@ScottRogerMusic hahaha why do you say that? xD I'd be flattered if it was my composition, guess most artists would c:
Now this is awesome! Love this.

Wonderful!
Thanks Officer Nutz!
Call of Duty Black Ops II - Zombies entrace song style. Beautiful and MISFITS!
EXCELLENT !
Dios!!! Amé estoooooooo
I will record this like ''we belong together'' from Ritchie Valens. I think is similar.
They are different lyrics, both romantic but this one is more darker than the Ritchie Valens song
THIS IS INCREDIBLE. LOVE TI. PLS DO MORE.
I'd love to! I have some in mind, but what would you like to hear?
@@ScottRogerMusic possibly some more misfits, and pretty much anything else is good!
I don't know if you know who Mister Monster is/was, but their songs Amy Sue and The Torn Prince would both be awesome!
@@skunx74 never heard of them but will check them out. I take it that Torn Prince is a reference to Thirteen Ghosts?
Yes, it sure is!
This is a really good song... probably the best misfits song.
Easily my favorite Misfits tune
❤️ this!
This is brilliant cover👍
Thank you!!
Okay this is awesome and I'm going to play it on-air on KXLU this week.
Thank you so much, hope some listeners enjoy it as much as I did making it!

This is exactly how I wish the song sounded like sometimes.
Yes bro🍻
Great fucking song! Hello from Poland!
LET’S HEAR DANZIG DO IT!
You'll be waiting a while for that haha
This is fucking AWESOME!!
Thank you! There's more coming too!
Was never a graves fan however I like this song and respect the fact he wrote his own lyrics
I unabashedly love Famous Monsters but that's it as far as Graves is concerned...
ua-cam.com/video/JIgsDZFIFEE/v-deo.html
Skip to 2:50 into the track. It's the closest you'll get to Graves basically performing it live. ✌
👍👍👍
Unintentionally rockabilly
This is just magical
que grande
Блин,на сколько это круто:)))\m/ Теперь одна из моих любимых песня у Misfits.Крутые!!!
Да, классный кавер получился. Это тоже моя любимая песня. 🙂🤟
Oh yeah bro
what is the name of the font you used in the video?
It took a bit of digging but I'm pretty sure I used a royalty free font called "The Macabre."
@@ScottRogerMusic hey thank you for going through the trouble of finding out. I'm planning on releasing some 80s slasher movies inspired synthwave and I think this font fits perfectly!
@@meinland4439 that sounds awesome and totally up my alley! Please send along a link when you release material
💀🎶
Muy buena rola quien canta ??????
Jorge Ovalle Soy el cantante!
@@ScottRogerMusic sos un capo me imagino a vos en el lugar de marty mc flye cantando pa que sus viejos se besen lpm
This sounds like it belongs on the radio of a girl named Christine.
someone get John Carpenter on the line, it's time for a remake!
This is like Punk meets The Beach Boys/ The Beatles
Well damn, guess I hit the mark then!
Guitar tab??
It's pretty easy, just C Am F G through the intro and verse, then F G C in the prechorus, E F G right before the chorus and then back to C Am F G for the chorus. The modulated part is the same general idea but in D instead of C. Hope this helps!
@@ScottRogerMusic thanks
223s ynw melly lyrics
I wish we had goths in the 50s
At least we had Johnny Cash!
@@ScottRogerMusic yeah we did
Screamin’ Jay Hawkins was pretty goth, no?
Could have done without making it sound like it's on a record that's never been cleaned. Maybe a little bit in the beginning but still just a little; not too much. (You know people also cleaned records back then; it's not a new thing lol) Most of us would never let a record that's never been cleaned or is all scratched up anywhere near our turntables. I know...in all fairness there are people who think records are supposed to sound like that for whatever reason & maybe you're not familiar with vinyl yourself; I don't know. But they're not....those clicks & pops are the stylus(needle) hitting dust & dirt in the grooves & sometimes it can be a scratch... That's why people clean records. People have always done it, we just have way better methods & products for it these days. I actually have a record from 1959 & some from the early 60s & all of them are dead quiet, like a CD almost...though they do have an occasional click or pop here & there, but are mostly dead quiet.lol
In retrospect, you're right... I've always had a problem being a little extra!
@@ScottRogerMusic don’t apologize to some know it all UA-cam critic, the aesthetic is perfect as is and everyone else loves it.
You gotta get a little more nasily if you wanna nail the 50s sound. It's a weird frequency. I guess, back then, their mics only picked up a certain frequency so that's why you hear a similar voice with all those classic 50s radio hosts and stuff. I love the idea though. I always thought graves nailed the 50s sound, especially with the backup vocalists and singing about drive ins and stuff.
Sounds like the raveonettes
vevo
Huhn.
The voice doesn't sound 50s at all sounds modern af. Music is acceptable
Stop this graves non sense go listen to ( misfits- American nightmare
Really cring on Saturday Night..
?
Great song...but this version? C'mon...it sounds like the singer is singing into a tin can...it's awful...an injustice to a great song. Sorry, just my opinion.
The original is still out there for you to enjoy, so all is well!
