@@Butts0hboi Yeah, once you install those, you're good, they have the clearance you need for longevity. The bearing kit is about $700.00 that includes the ARP rod bolts. I like the ARPs, you torque them to 50ft LBS and you're done. The oil for these, if you didn't know is 10w60. I order from Amazon.

Your straight pipe sounds good but I think the eisenmann race exhaust and x pipe has a nicer sound especially that blue one from monaco. The exhaust is probably the only major cost mod on a e60 m5 or e63 m6 you would do, so might as well go with the best.
Amazing! I have the same basic car. 2010 E64 M6 and I recently did the muffler delete. Left the resonator but like yours it sounds freaking amazing from inside the car. Now I got a chance to hear what it sounds like when I drive by at ridiculous speeds! Thank you brotha! Great video and truly beautiful E60!
Nice man I love the M6! Thanks for the kind words. Sometimes I wish I would've gone with the M6 since I don't need 4 doors. Smart move on leaving the resonator, the added drone gets old at times. I promise you, let someone else drive your car while you stand outside and it will give you an entirely different perspective. Video does zero justice on how it sounds, do it and you'll see what I mean. Sounds like nothing else!
I remember those sunglasses and Advil nights just cruising in 4th gear with the meistershaft on my e60 back in the day. Nothing beats it. I might have to buy a used 6 speed (of course) again.

Buying one is fine for me as here in the UK they are 10-15k to buy one so a bargain but I can’t help but worry about maintenance prices which makes me wonder if I can afford to run one but it would only be a weekend car so not a lot miles would be done and I’d get one that’s had all the common big faults done that come with these cars. But lovely car bud and what a noise. Music to my ears. 👍

Thanks Chuck I appreciate it! Its a 2008 and I just removed the resonator and replaced it with a X pipe and removed the mufflers. The cats were left in place.

Thanks for the compliment! If you live in North America and can find a clean, low mileage 6 speed manual I think it would be a good investment. I think it will be a while for the smg equipped cars to start going up in value because of the negativity behind those, although I've heard many people say that they'll start going up in value. I really cant tell. I found mine on autotrader and there are many on ebay. I've only had the car for about a year and bought it with 91k miles.

14 mpg in the city, on the highway I get about 22. And the oil changes are like any other synthetic car so every 5,000 miles. Its not too bad but I know what you mean.

Other thing I hope that's not your real tags , because people have received tickets in mail because things like that. Their was a truck driver who was driving down the road and ran a stop sign. DOT saw the video ticket in the mail .....
Sounds awesome man! I'm a truck guy, but I love the sound of a V10 for some reason. Almost makes me want to get one haha. And how do you like that Nikon D5500? I eventually want to get a nice camera and that's the one I was looking at.
I'll always be a truck guy at heart but can't afford to have both lol. It's a a great camera, there's a lot to learn and I haven't taken the time to learn all its features. But as for the basics, the touch screen is a big plus as well as the fact that it swivels out. So if you're filming low or high you can tilt the screen up or down to still see what you're looking at. And you can download all of your pics to your phone from anywhere that way you can edit or post them and do whatever without having to hook it up to a computer. You can only do that with pics though, no videos which is my only complaint. Otherwise those two are my favorite features and I think the models below the 5500 also have the wifi connectivity feature. Just not the touch screen.

No problem, good luck with your search! Take your time on finding the right one, there's also those non DSLR cameras (Sony) that are way lighter and supposedly better for vlogs and stuff. Check out Canon too, I went with Nikon specifically because my Dad is a Nikon guy and figured we could share lens since they're compatible but I know a lot of people that prefer Canon for whatever reason. Probably just down to brand preference.

My local Best Buy had a salesman that worked for both Best Buy and Nikon and gave me tons of info. Hopefully you can find someone knowledgeable that can steer you in the right direction. Although I found my camera to be cheaper online as a bundle with a bag, lens, cleaning kit, etc than it was at the store.

That's correct, I wanted to add an X pipe to give it a little more crisp sound and figured while I had it at the shop to have them remove the resonator. Mainly did it out of curiosity. Although I will probably have them put the resonator back on once I find the time.
A 1 owner M5 car is very hard to find. With the right documentation it’s your best bet for a good ownership. Just make sure to have some money set aside just in case.
Yeah it's almost too loud. Cold starts are one of the loudest things I've ever heard and I've had some loud vehicles. I'll probably be putting the resonator back on.
Whats the milage on it? im in the market for one, and a perfect spec M5 just went up for sale in my area... it looks almost exactly like yours. but it has 120k miles on it... so i dont know.
Currently mine has 108k. I bought it with 89k. I wish I would have bought one with lower miles. The car is addicting to drive, so the miles come quick; I would try to find one with lower miles.

Yeah rims are a must, I'm still looking for a set. Stock wheels look ok but they aren't aggressive enough but you're 100% right that V10 never gets old.

In the end the E39 M5 is the best looking BMW hands down comparing to the E60 design. The motor sounds good yes but when a straight pipe is done to the S62 motor sounds way better.

Nice they look great in white! This setup is just the mufflers and resonator removed and I added a X pipe where the resonator was.

It's from the cats back, cats are the only ones with sensors that would probably throw codes. I only removed the mufflers and resonator so no codes.

Du solltest genauer lesen, abgesehen davon finde ich nicht, dass der N54 ein Allerwelts-Sechszylinder-Biturbo ist..
