    I like the explanation about how to use a compost toilet.
    Personally I’d like to see what a compost mixture in a toilet is really like, so I know what to expect.
    Good to be able to see that bigger sinks and privacy while bathing are indeed what I’d prefer.
    Thanks for the video.

      Yes we started looking and planning to buy in the spring ! We want to remodel an old one ! We are looking in the Niagara falls region but more on the country side (Wainfleet I think you guys know Grimbsy so you might know Wainfleet haha!) We live in Quebec right now, the winters seem to be less harsh over there, we want to winterize it. You guys are such an inspiration to go minimalist, this is really our goal ! :) Thank you for your reply

    nicely done, guys. both the video AND the actual bathroom ;) .
    i liked the option for either propane or electrical hot water.
    how does the space behave with moisture after those hot 12min showers?
    i’m planning my tinyhouse, and i feel the sanitary hot water, and ‘steam management’ is one of the most difficult things to cater to.

    How do you keep water off the backside of shower where the white wall above the seat is? One suggestion for garbage can if you could locate the metal container that’s usually designated for feminine products that hangs on the wall usually has paper or plastic bag in it. Or find a nice blue garbage can cut in half top to bottom affix to either a thin clear sheet of plexiglass or even thin light piece of wood not a panel but slats glued together or even left over that matches vanity top mount to wall and you’re done it will give illusion that you have a recessed can when only half. The sink was mentioned if you really end up hating the clean up get bowl that’s bigger that could sit in current hole use the same parts faucet is high enuf to handle a bowl height.

    Lol kristen I found it adorable and hilarious how many times you said "pee" and "poop." Do you have to fill Luna with water every few days for the sink and shower? If you hit pot holes does stuff fall off the shelves? Why did the toilet ground her kids? Cause they had potty mouths!

    Alright someone's gotta answer this question for me. Americans often use non-detachable shower heads like the one in your shower, so my question is this: how do you actually get clean with only a stream of water coming from above you, so you can't direct it where you need it? I can't wash my butt unless I'm squatting in the shower (you're welcome for that mental picture), and I just can't imagine being able to get clean properly when I can't move the shower head around. This has been bugging me for years.

    • @hopscotchtheglobe
      @hopscotchtheglobe  7 років тому +8

      +Lola Ryan no problem washing butts over here haha. Just soup up and rub down. That usually does the trick.

    • @JJoy-bk8yr
      @JJoy-bk8yr 7 років тому +15

      Lola Ryan face away from the shower head and assume a twerking position. Don't need to do the twerk motion though.

      Liz Lemon they just don't know how convenient it is with a removable shower head. 😉 I also don't like the non-detachable ones.
