I was a little apprehensive of lambdas before this video. Thanks Wyn, a simple start will quench my thirst for more.

You’re welcome
awesome
Thanks
This is awesome

Wonder if there’s a performance boost over using a user defined function in VBA? 🤔 One way to find out…
Note too that Lambdas will work in Excel for web so a bit more future proof.
This looks great for a single user, but I'm wondering whether it would work for me in a corporate environment where I'm distributing files to maybe 200 users. What's needed for distributed files? Do they all need to follow the installation process?
No the formula lives in the file. The add-in just assists in writing the formula
Nice one Wyn, thanks! I was aware of the term and it's been on my list to look into for a while. This is an accessible and effective intro - not scary at all 😉
Great to hear, thanks!
@@AccessAnalytic great, thanks for the clarification
I imagine that the purpose of saving the function within a module is so that it can be called later from a new workbook. It's right?
Hi, no it’s just a method of grouping/categorising your LAMBDAS
Check out part 2 ua-cam.com/video/gUkC73uiROE/v-deo.html for how to use in other workbooks
Can you save them in your personal macro workbook like a UDF?
Hmmm.. maybe … not sure I’d recommend it as the formula then wouldn’t work for anyone else.
