360° hike to Wildhorse Lake, Steens Mountain

From the top of Steens Mountain, the tallest peak in southeast Oregon, hike down to Wildhorse Lake in this new 360-degree video!
The hike below the rim into the Steens Wilderness is challenging, with plenty of loose rock on the trail, but the rewards of solitary, natural Oregon beauty are overwhelming.
The alpine lake ecosystem is protected for its unique vegetation and is also the headwaters for the designated wild and scenic river of the same name.
The cliffs that surround the lake can have snow on them every day of the year, even when the slopes are bursting with lush greenery and summer wildflowers.
