And it makes sense because orange lacks the protection point to fill the gauge. Once you have a protection available, it is an all or nothing. Also, if you read or watch Frieren, everything is calculated ahead and strategic positioning. This kind of mechanic makes sense for this collab.
I mean, I kinda predicted this would happen and you know what I dont mind it because I didn't summon for Shinsa, so I DO need an ult-to-orange unit more than anything else, and Stark HAPPENS to change Light orb. NYB Rimuru who is my only real orange team CAN use him.
Hey! I know this might sound crazy, but what if stacking orange is a team that actually requires you to also use your ultimates/ex ultimates multiple times.....just a random crazy thought i just had....like you're not saving in the traditional kind of sense but more just sending ult after ult....seems crazy, but orange stacking also is crazy....anyway it's just a thought
I know collabs are rare and a 1 time thing but so far it feels like this is just not gonna run very smoothly. You can already tell from the get go that this meta is clunky 1. For now, orb changing is only on the protector who; 2. Doesnt even change 6 orbs and; 3. Doesnt buff orange prot gauge so he isnt even gonna cycle 4. The ult swap is 2 orbs let alone the attribute restrictions 5. The invincible taunt can only be used thrice and is useless against AOE ults 6. Orange just sucks
My understanding of the protector skill is its only change 3 orb when you use it but it also changes 3 non orange at the start of each turn, lasting for 3 turn and every time you use the active skill? So assuming you able to fully charge the protector with charm for protection gauge you should able to fully change into a full hands of orange?
Well this is something, since its a stacking team the 3 turns waiting will not be a problem cuz no matter what you want to stack you will do it for at least 3 turn. I don't dislike the kits but in terms of how much i like the units and there design when i thought they can't do anything worse then the Idols they collab with this anime that i absolutely dislike in terms of character design. But oh well its better then i thought it will be. As for the content that drops in like a week or so they might do something that they did not do yet like release this collab now and at the end of the month release the January Meta and let it run along side the collab who knows.
So far this meta has 2 big problems: skillpoints and prot gauge . The skillpoint gain itself is Not the issue ,its more the fact that you wont send falls jands of Oranges nc of these stupid ults you cant swap away. And then there is the prot gauge .Sure you dont need an protector each turn but getting one each 2nd turn should be double (which is whit only 4 yellow orbs Not givin all the time ) so this Team defently need an prot gauge Buffer and an skill reset skill so thst even only 4 orb sends would be fine, or another way to get around these ults
If you f2p i personally would skip so far because all frieren does for the team , DG diablo basicly does better and ult buffers are the most common buff in the game. unless you really like frieren then go for it . I will spend money anyways because its frieren 😂
@@TheFreeze6662 Sadly at this point unless you are a frieren hardcore it makes the most sense to skip this and focus on saving crystals for the half year anniversary.
Damn… this might be a skip. Unless Fern and Aura provide a protection gauge on oranges skill and an ult to rainbow skill this teams is gonna be rough. Plus Frieren’s 3 turns skill is regarded as “status”, which means that stupid ass cleanse skill the devs like to put on enemies to screw over the idol team is gonna nerf the crap outta her going forward. I’ll hope for the best but man is this a little disappointing.
I really like how generic Frieren is, I’m really liking this collab so far I’m very happy they are allowing units to just be upgraded to Ex and Unbound if they’re at level cap.. I’m honestly surprised by that. W devs
15:39 why is masayuki there? Is he gonna be the SM Shizu for Frieren or what? Makes no sense why he´s in the split with the other meta characters. Aside from that Frieren feels like a bit of a letdown to me. All that buildup and the requirement to let Frieren sit upfron 3 turns with all the hype all for that small buff? Antagonist Shinsha has a much more powerfull buff that is activated instantly at the same cost. And high cost buffers that only exist for one skill... are eh. Only redeeming quality is that there´s oddly many synergy power/res down buffers and less rate enablers. Still skill one is stupid. I think Himmel could turn out really good. Playing orange metas without the respective monthly meta is awfull (usually greens and blues nerfed aka 90% of the game). And older orange metas are rarely helpfull in the inferno beatdowns or doing meaningfull numbers in jubilee cause old or crit/synergy/pierce attached. Here we have a prot that can generate a generic buff and substantial SP on those stages to support a wide variety of teambuilds. Aside from cycling he solves a lot of orange issues by himself: SP, cap, orb changing. He could be the Ainzmuru of oranges.
that "turns: 3" already means that they dont intend us to cycle the protector in the first place 😭
And it makes sense because orange lacks the protection point to fill the gauge. Once you have a protection available, it is an all or nothing.

if stark didn't have that damn light convert I'd love him.
Tentatively excited. Stark’s skill being light only SUCKS, but most of this seems like good news
Wielder of magic shinsha stock just went up.
I'm so glad the ex upgrade is free, that's so good!

I love how Milim has vegetables on one scale, and deserts on the other lol
That 2 part story was done in overlord collab iirc
I like that they are trying something new. I like that they aren’t giving us more orange metas. I just want this meta to be good though
I know collabs are rare and a 1 time thing but so far it feels like this is just not gonna run very smoothly. You can already tell from the get go that this meta is clunky

I have 120 Bride Shuna. Glad she is getting a skill fusion. Hopefully, it is the light attribute buff.
himmel should have given 500% gauge to ult orbs. That way sending 2 ults in a turn doesnt kill your points
i honestly really hate meta's without orb converter units.
Someone's going to give synergy power
hope to get some luck on summons!
Me too
Same
so guessing we are getting another banner later with prolly fern and ubel? curious what the team comp would be
Could be Flamme? Or Serie

Should we level up normal characters to 120 before the update or leave them at level 100 to save resources when they automatically become ex stats?
Excited for this collab
Looks good but I'll wait till the full teams out before pulling on anything.

Ye, this team just feels wrong, orange stacking i mean, anyway, i do love frieren a lot so I'll sty to try to get all of them
In practice, that 3 turn countdown on Frieren is going to be annoying, I think.

I feel like they're trying to do everything in their power to make us quit the game
I dont even use stickers but as a gacha game player my job is collection.. SO PAYING MONEY FOR STICKERS PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH
I think they did the 2 seperate bazaars for the Overlord collab
Guess i'll be saving more crystals 😂
Except from the blue guy the rest looks mid af.
I really like how generic Frieren is, I’m really liking this collab so far

his 2x ult swap is interesting though, does that mean fern will be light too
