needs way more views. explained in 20 minutes what i couldnt figure out all day from all the top hits that came back when i searched primary/foreign keys
From a computer science student here in Sydney Australia. Thank you for making this video. It was extremely helpful. Combined with the lectures from uni I now understand what a primary/foreign key is.
Great video! Really well explained. The only part where I got a little bit lost was you explained about the symbols use to express the relation between the tables and the specified directions by the end of the video.
16:37 !!!!!! Why is it possible not to register who made a purchase on the sales table? how can we leave the customer_id space in blank? if we dont have the customer_id on the sales table would the system know where to send the package? i dont get that part sorry guys
The FK gets access because they have a "common" key, which opens the way to get multiple info when INPUTING column names(from both sides) in select statements. It will show up the results , because you used the PK, in addition to both tables in your select stat.

I got the point but the thing is how do those foreign key get to access values from it's primary key table in the prepared statement
The FK gets access because they have a "common" key, which opens the way to get multiple info when INPUTING column names(from both sides) in select statements. It will show up the results , because you used the PK, in addition to both tables in your select stat.
is it possible to change the pk name of one table when writing it in the next table
No, because if you do that the primary key ID will not match, which will mean you'll get an error in your syntax.
How do we see the answers? :)
24:20 Great!
