I thought your portfolio was good and it gave me some ideas. When I look at portfolios, I feel like I'm not judging that persons drawing or painting skill. But more, their ability to tell a story, capture an idea, and evolve it.
Hi, LOVE YOUR IDEATION PROCESS!!!! This was so helpful, thank you so much💕. Quick question: Did you use any specific app/website to create the digital portfolio? What is it called?
@@AK-vb5ug Hi, I recently applied to UAL: Central Saint Martins and yes, the portfolio submission is done via pebble pad which requires you to upload jpg images of your portfolio work ( either pictures from your sketchbook or any digital work or both) to the given file slot. You'll be given 15 slots to upload your work in any format given from the instructions provided on portfolio submission by UAL. I went with jpg format and uploaded a total of 15 jpg images. Personally, I used sketchbook pro app for my digital illustration as i have a lenovo tab (Microsoft software), 3D paint app to direct arrows and write brief description of my sketches and last, Adobe creative cloud express app for creating a landscape form picture for compiling all the pictures of my work together and uploaded it to the given slot but I suggest using any app which is best viable for the same. I hope this helped!
hi, quick question - when i look at the ual website for LCF foundation years, there are no 'foundation years' that come up - only something called 'level 3 international'. is this the course that you took or is it the foundation year at CSM?
hello! The Pre-Degree’s at LCF, such as the Level 3 and International Preparation for Fashion are both foundations. I am doing the International Preparation one !
Hi! I’m not sure as I’m not in fashion business, but if you go on the UAL website on the course you want to study, they say exactly what you need to submit.
hey! It definitely varies depending on which course you are applying for, but for the LCF foundation you can upload up to 45 pages, with no minimum. I would suggest aiming for around 30 :)
@@l4k132 hi again! not at all. Depending if you are more interested in fashion business, fashion media or fashion design, you can include work relevant to the pathway you are most interested in. I was primarily interested in fashion design, hence all the fashion sketches :) You can also include some art work irrelevant to fashion but I wouldn't put too much of that if you are interested in going into fashion specifically !
thanks so much for sharing, i really like your ideas and design process. i'm working on my portfolio for the same course for next year!
that's awesome!! If you have any questions about foundation, the portfolio or the interview process, let me know !! :)
@@sochhinzpinet hey, is foundation required for all LCF courses;?

Hi, do you reckon you can get straight into the course to CSM for fashion design with a foundation diploma in art and design all ready?
Hi! I’m not sure but I think they want you to have a foundation (doesn’t matter where you went to do it) :)
