the reason the Odysseus theme plays with Hermes there is a mythos reason for that. It was told in the original the Hermes is so reluctant to help him often as possible because they are related. Hermes is his great grandfather so a fun little touch that Jorge added!
Some notes: First of all i love that you said "I have no spoilers" and then immediately go "Wait i mightve heard a snippet of this one" Second, because you mentioned the synth, funnily enough the more magical tomfoolery is going on the more technical elements in the music are there, so Hermes here literally influencing a mortal in what has several times been called an act of "Divine Intervention" of course has a very synth-y basis Third, yup the winions and everything around the wind bag is all always a callback to "Keep your friends close" Great reaction, love this song
