1) Never use Diamond eggs, SAVE them for Diamond mask
2) Supreme star amulet is a big role to switching hive colors
3) Use THIS order to use Spirit petals
Petal Wand > Windy Bee > Petal Belt
4) Keep the golden rake with you, Do NOT buy spark staff
5) if you're not on Late-game, you should NOT use materials for boosting. you need them in the future.

Dang I really wanted to use my diamond egg I’ve been praying my whole life to get a mythic cause I have all the legendarys
7:00 if you have the spark staff and you don't have a use for it, use it to get pollen by collecting near a planter because of its speed range and collection, it makes bees go to your planter more often, also don't use sprinklers for this trick, and if you are blue hive then don't because the bubbles refresh the flowers and this wont work.

Although I understand why choosing hive colors without SSA is a bad idea, I would encourage buying fire/bubble mask and doing a MIXED with the majority being your chosen color. This means you can still benefit from the masks’ boosts to their colors (sort of) while also having a few of the opposite color so you can actually complete quests that require said color.

actually in my opinion, before you switch hive colors you should also complete all the major questlines, that way you don't get pollen from an opposite color and take a long time to grind
@toshio probably, but some people have already gone hardcore red/white/blue and there's really no turning back

using 2nd petal for belt is not necessarily a bad idea depending on how much the person has donated to the shrine. It would be an immediate upgrade if the person has a long way to go before getting windy to pop. I play with a large group of people who wished they didn't donate for Windy because: 1: you can only donate vials every 2 hours,. 2: you have to farm Windy to get the 10 vials back, which is extremely random or you have to donate star jelly or field dice but again only every 2 hours. 3: If the person hasn't donated while playing before even getting to Windy Quest ( which you should have done) you can then donate and have the belt and work towards donating to raise favor for Windy. Favor is not a known number and I've seen people donate 200-300+ vials and not get him. I had favor built up but not enough, got the belt for capacity and convert since I was filling my bag so fast and then got Windy but it still took me a lot of donations and farming Windy to get vails back. (Windy also has diminished returns so after doing Windy like 5-10 times a day, you'll only get honey and vials. If you NEED Windy to complete Spirit Bears last quest to get the last petal, then you really didn't think your hive well enough or didn't round it out because I finished all Spirit Bear with absolutely no issues...it was Windy Spawning that took waaaaay longer.
u need spark staff for quests it's ok to own and not waste money later on
A stupid mistake I made, which has really caught up to me now that I'm around halfway after midgame, was buying the coconut clogs before buying the gummy mask (which I do have now), so whenever I finally get enough materials for my next item, I have way more honey. I probably could be at coconut clogs, canister and the gummy mask (maybe more) if I didn't make that mistake.

6th worst mistake: Only use your star treats on event bees.
other bee types can become gifted by just feed it their favorite food.

@@7monomet the ninja bee's favorite treat is sunflower seed so I think you meant you fed it 50 sunflower seed, not pineapple
ONLY gift non-mythic or event bees via treats. unless you're feeling lucky or have ten thousands of treats, don't feed your mythics because it's a waste of materials which can be used to craft super smoothies and other items that could later on be used to buy tickets which in turn get you star treats to guarantee a gifted mythic.

Donating the second spirit petal can actually be a mistake. If your favor isn't high enough, it will take forever. I donated my second petal and ended up getting the petal belt before windy bee despite donating over 500 cloud vials. Also, about the first point, if you know you're not going to get the diamond mask, it's fine to use them...

I donated my first spirit petal in a rush to get 1st edition windy bee, but got the middle finger from rng instead and got it like 3 weeks later

I boosted a lot before getting the windy. Gold eggs are insane to build up favor. Took we like 25-75 vials
1:52 its so satisfying when he resets at the end of the song cause of how perfectly timed it is.
Once upon, a time, I was a beekeeper with a mere 25 bees, and I used my diamond egg from black bear and got a legendary bee from it, instead of keeping it for a diamond mask, I now wish to bang my head against a wall.

I got Spicy Bee with my Diamond Egg from Black Bear
Don't buy puppy bee if it's your first event bee.
Don't use stingers if you don't have the vicious bee.
Don't use gumdrops if you don't have the gummy bee.
Srsy small sentence but effective I have seen ppl cover this topic for 30 mins you are legend

well switching early hive colors isnt terrible especially for like red hives since u only need one gifted spicy bee and the flame fuel is great
It is terrible. It will feel horrible when trying to do a blue pollen quest when say ur a red or white hive. And plus getting specific bees will be pain and no you need more than one gifted spicy bee if you are.
Yeah, but when you will try to farm white or blue pollen, you wont have jellies to switch the hive
Don't forget: Use the first translator from Science Bear on Stick Bug! During the third questline you need to get tokens from Stick Bug and his nymphs, and it's a real pain to wait for someone else to spawn in Stick Bug to let you get those things.

i made a massive mistake when i was earlygame.. i live to regret every second of it because i thought it was a fantastic idea to go through ALL OF THE CODES and put ALL OF THEM IN AT THE SAME TIME.
Out of all the materials he has, the biggest flex is the 7 silver eggs, mad respect, idc about your lvl 17 hive, those eggs are HARD to get
bro level 17 hive is harder then 7 silver eggs
If I didn't try to get a better ssa I could get a lvl 17 in a month, easily, but not 2 silver eggs easily, possible, but not easy

@@RamdmUserHere I don’t remember exactly since I haven’t been on in a while, but I’m pretty sure it’s more than 10
I’ve done most of these, but here’s a few more I realised it’s better not to do:
- Do not bleach your hive (as in don’t overdo legendaries, it’s gonna slow you down)
- Do quests that stack (say if I have two quests that both need to defeat rhino beetles)
- Use translator on the gifted bee that you have more colours of (if I had more blue bees, I would translate gifted bucko bee)
- Don’t waste tickets, I’ve had a hard hit because of this. I’m struggling even getting 500 because i need 10 billion honey
- Don’t do memory match often until you do most Ace/Master/Hotshot/GrandMaster badges
- Don’t AFK farm without a bear cub.
- DO POLAR BEAR’S QUESTS
- Do black bear’s quests, really helpful
- It’s easier to go for the fire mask as more fields use, well, red. (GET ANYTHING THAT GIVES MORE RED FOR BEST RESULTS)
- DO NOT SPAM “USE ANOTHER” WHEN USING RJ, I HAVE MESSED UP A MYTHIC GIFTED WHILE SPAMING THEM
- Get sprinklers
I personally don't agree with the memory match one ,I instead recommend just getting the badges and doing them as frequently as posiible

There's really no point using Diamond eggs because the chances of getting a Mythic is really low and you're not gonna get it most of the times ;-;

TheDemoniteDragon thought this was a huge improvement from the scythe. Later, he saved up JUST ENOUGH money to buy the spark staff. He bought it. Now, he is approaching mid-game and is using materials to boost and thinking of changing his hive color with 37 bees and a silver star amulet. "I should probably donate my first spirit petal to the wind shrine." he thought.

When spark staff and golden rake came out, I bought spark staff because nobody told me that it was bad and I was stuck using it for like 6 months

When I started bee swarm I kinda don't know how to play so I do stuff like wasting my own codes and chose red hive so I started grinding then I just looked at my settings and my blue percent was higher bc I wanted to see which percent color is higher if it's red I'm gonna buy the red bee from the tent and ITS TURNED OUT TO BE BLUE?!
My hive has every singular color, other than mythics.

You forgot about fruits, I mean mother bear. Fruits are used for a ton of crafting and you should hold off mother bear.
Oh, and don’t buy puppy bee before the other bees in the ticket shop.

Using diamond egg is a big mistake since u can just earn the bees from royal jellies and the royal jellies are cheap

A few years ago I got my dad to start playing bee swarm with me and now he’s way better but I told him that he should get petal wand, use one at the wind shrine, then petal belt just because I thought it made sense so it’s nice to see I was right

It's okay to use your diamond eggs if you know you aren't going to get diamond mask... when I was at that stage I was targetting gummy mask so I didn't care. At some point afterwards I got demon mask, and I never rlly grinded for diamond mask. One day I just realised I had enough materials and crafted it. Unless you're set on becoming blue, you don't need to save up eggs at the early-midgame stage.

Things you shouldn’t do in bee swarm
- never use golden eggs you can get honeymask
-never use stingers you could get demon mask or vicious
-never use gumdrops you could get gummy bee, gummy boots, gummy mask
-Never use oil, enzemys, glue or glitter because they are extremely hard to get and you can use them to get items

Although this guide is quite outdated, I'd still like to point out a few things. First, it has been shown to be more optimal to get petal belt first. The recommended order is actually Petal Belt, Windy Bee, then Petal Wand. This order applies especially if you macro. The reason you get petal belt first is because; 1. In early/mid game your main source of pollen is bombs and petal wand lacks those passives, 2. Petal belt offers a +50% capacity boost which allows you to stay in a field longer, 3. Petal belt also offers a +20% buzz bomb pollen bonus which will help with collecting. Second of all, although it is good to be a mixed hive, you should be leaning slightly more towards blue gear just to set you up for the endgame (ex. diamond mask first) because a blue hive is the easiest to set up. Besides those two points, this video is great and outlines some main mistakes that people make.

Well you can switch to a certain hive colour before ssa, just make sure black bear, sci bear, and other stuff are complete before you switch hive colors before ssa (atleast have 4 or less until ssa)
im just doing that so I am more of a hive color so the SSA isnt bad when i get it.
I highly disagree with getting the windy bee second, you’re not even guaranteed an upgrade until much later after using several hundred wind vials whereas you get a direct upgrade with the belt and you can focus on upgrading the rest of the bees in your hive, also waiting until your third petal will let you have time to increase favor, minimizing the vials needed
@toshio you’re still donating stuff to the wind shrine anyway, and focusing on wind vial donations will takeaway from major boost items used to finish quests.
@toshio if you do a dumb thing hoping for a 1 in a million chance then that's great but its so rare to the point where you may as well guarantee yourself an upgrade instead of most likely just getting nothing until you beat your 30th spirit bear quest anyways (which also takes longer since you wouldn't have the petal belt)

@@PhoenixGami I got it like 3 weeks ago. I currently have most of the materials for Petal Wand and 50% progress on the Spirit Petal.
The only problem that I have with this is why the petal belt with the 2nd petal is bad. He doesn't back it up with any evidence, or any reason as to why it's slower than windy.
YES I KNEW IT!! one of my friends told me "you gotta pick a hive color" and I said "no I'm staying mixed hive"
although i made a mistake with using the only diamond egg i had i didnt really regret it because i got a fuzzy bee by it
it really inspired me to get a vicious bee, one month later i got the vicious bee
a little after the beesmas event i ended up making the vicious bee gifted (i was a mid-game player)
sadly that one account got hacked during sping so i ended up making another account, one month later i was close to a mid-game player (im not asking for attention im just pointing out the mistake[s] i made)
did i mention i did all of this without robux.

I've made a hefty amount of these mistakes and far more other mistakes (like using star jellies on my hive.) As a mid game player im hoping i can recover from these mistakes
using star jelly as a mid game is fine, you'll know when you dont need them anymore

I remember a guy who like uses all his gumdrops and bought the colbat and crimson bee first also buying the spark staff and spended a diamond egg I was litterally in so much pain looking at him

I accidentally got the petal order right. wand first windy second and belt third.
I used a diomand egg and got a fuzzy bee, so I think it was worth it.

Yea, I don't agree with the petal thing at all.
By the time you get your second petal, you are already at the stage of the game where getting 5 grandmaster badges shouldn't be too big of a deal, and you likely (if you were crafting) should have at least gummy mask and coconut clogs (maybe even canister depending on how much prep you did).
What happened to me was this. I donated 10 vials as often as I could to build favor. I did choose do donate the second petal as well. Problem... I already got my third petal despite having over 1 mil favor built up in the shrine (before the petal donation) and I still didn't get windy before I got my flower belt anyway.
So yea, if you are lucky and you get windy before you get your third petal, then great... but the odds are typically not in your favor. There is a reason why so few late gamers have it.
If I could do it over, I would have donated my second petal for the belt, which would then make getting the other petal much easier anyway. All the while still donating vials anyway to build favor for higher odds by the time I got the third.

hi my first event bees were cobalt bee and crimson bee, and then I got 500 tickets and bought photon bee. some people say I should've bought tabby bee but I really wanted to make more pollen first so was this a big mistake or not?

Technically better to try to get windy with last petal, because by that time your favor is already so high it can easily be done with 2-5 donos especially if you donated a decent egg already

I used every diamond egg I got from quest and later I learned there is something called diamond mask which requires 5 diamond egg I regret it now but I somehow got 1 diamond egg from the sprout

3. Using your second spirit petal to get the Petal Belt instead of donating it to the Wind Shrine

I just got the Petal Belt today. *I USED MY FINAL SPIRIT PETAL* and to think. I still have honey mask and I don't own the end game guards yet.
I'm also guessing u can stand next to that shadow bear in the 30 bee zone if u have diamond mask.
I feel like the diamond egg one is kinda dumb if you don't wanna be a blue hive. There would be no point to save them
I’m a mid-game player and I keep getting stuck on black bears mid-game quests and also my first onett quest. Any tips that could help?
Wat first quest is normal ( Im not mid game tho ) i only need 800k goo from white and around 300 haste

Play the game collectively and only do the field your quest’s in if A) you’re close to badge or B) a crazy boost (x3)

I actually made another mistake you didn’t include and that is hatching gifted eggs.
I hatched a gifted silver egg and I got a gifted bee I already have.
Donate it to the wind shrine instead. You get a lot of really good winds and it’ll up your chance in getting a windy bee!

I made the biggest mistake because a few months ago when I wasn't endgame I used 4 diamond eggs to get mythic bee but got none, I now hate myself
I got the windy bee really fast because i once donated a diamond egg to the wind shrine 😂

And you need the quest finished and all the other drive quests to be able to do the robo-bear challenge, so you basically need spark staff to unlock the robo-bear challenge.

4:43 but I spend my first spirit petal in windy bee, and then it become more easy to finish quest and then in 2 weeks, I already got my second spirit petal and then I buy the petal wand
I made the hive color mistake, filled my hive with blue bees while I had my silver star amulet and I just got all my gifted bees back after making that mistake.
7:55 me who used a whole entire code back in 2018 to get the gold egg in werewolf cave (back when if you died with field boosts it would remove them or something like that)

I dont have SSA but the reason why I mainly grind in red fields is bc I got a red mythic early game and I dont wanna get rid of it, so most people think I'm a red hiver without getting SSA.

I don’t know why but when I’m first playing this game 3 years ago , I only bought the golden rake then upgrade it to porcelain dipper , yea at least I didn’t regret it

Wait soo if you don’t have ssa like me I’m already going red hive and a few red mythic bees already and I’ve got 37 gifted bees, it will still work but not as well? Is that correct?
1:01 - I made this mistake, however I managed to get a Mythic and I think it was pretty worth it.
