The critique one the EFF’s decision to vote out the ANC is just sour. When Zuma does political moves that we cannot understand he is praised for creating a contradiction. The ANC needed a confrontation. Being purist in reflecting on that justified decision of the EFF is hypocrisy at best. Electoral politics is but a terrain of struggle where different tactics can be explored.
I appreciate brother Andile Mngxitama so much. However, I am of the view that a partial truth is a complete lie. Andile says, "At one point... he had decisively moved to the left." This should mean that for a while, Zuma was serving the right wing from his youth all the way to his old age when he suddenly moved to the left. What got him to the right wing in the first and kept him there for so long? Earning a nine year long presidency? In the so-called new South Africa, he had occupied different positions in the ANC as well as in the country itself. We need to be provided with history as it is. Thabo Mbeki had written a 30-page long document challenging Jacob Zuma. What about on different occasions when Zuma spoke ill of the PAC of Azania? Mocking the PAC's history and its policies?
