Fun fact regarding the train robber scene. Silver Dollar City actually runs a charity that provides assistance to families in need around the Branson area. 100% of any money that the train robbers collect goes towards that charity. It's one of several things that the park does intended to improve the community.
That's great to hear. When watching I didn't like the way they were taking 'tips' from customers, but the fact it's going to charity would make me definitely want to give
My family are 5 generations to ride the original Fire in the Hole. Hopefully we can go for another 5 generations on 2.0 here's to many more years of our home park. From Kansas City Missouri but we are not Cedar Fair fans. But our Hershand parks is what we claim. A world class theme park in our playground of the Ozarks Mountains. Hope you enjoyed your stay in our country.
I remember when we went on the train ride at SDC when the train robbers came out, some kid gave them their bag of pop corn and the robber ate it lol. Once in a lifetime experience
It's so funny. I remember watching your original visit to Silver Dollar City and everyone was telling you that you missed the cave lol I'm so glad you guys made it in!
Brilliant review, watched both parts, I live in Austin Texas and shamefully have never made the trip to Silver Dollar City, but after watching this I'm already planning a trip there this April :-)
Hi shawn and Charlotte what a brilliant 2 days here at this park. I laughed when Charlotte threw her socks away. She always gets the soaker bless her . Beautiful park amazing cave how unique is that . Thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Such a shame mystic river falls doesn't allow on ride filming. I can imagine how hard I would've been laughing at charlotte's reaction. I do apologize that I get so much joy at her expense.
2 years ago your cedar point videos convinced me it was time to go back to cedar point, and I did and loved it. This year your video from Busch gardens with Charlotte's first ride on gwazi convinced me to go back there, and I am this September. I think these 2 days of vlogs at silver dollar city have convinced me I need to go there, having never been. I even showed my wife the footage of the marvel cave to get her excited. Thank you for these great videos, and showing us all these amazing parts that are out there!
I just love Charlotte's "love and enthusiasm" of the water rides 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Throwing her socks in the bin was hilarious. The look on her face when she came off! 🤣 I love a good rapids ride. I remember going on Popeye at Universal and getting absolutely drenched! 😂 it's OK when the weather is warm enough to dry off.
Man, I love the sound of that train, both the steam engine & the whistle! The cave tour looks incredible. The rapids are so unique with the lift, slide portion, & steep drop. It's a shame we couldn't get the on-ride POV to hear Charlotte's angry shrieks! You've really made me want to go to this park, though! 😍
Oh wow! The cave experience looks incredible! That rapids ride was such a soaker. Hats off to Charlotte for giving that a go. Planning our next family US trip around this park. Definitely.
Wow this place looks amazing. This is my new top bucket list park after seeing these 2 great vlogs. This is giving me Dollywood vibes but honestly the theming and uniqueness of it looks like potentially even a step up from Dollywood.
@@kellybraille Thanks for the info, it really was giving me Dollywood vibes so that makes sense. I loved Dollywood and this park looks like a step up in theming and ambiance although maybe a slight step down in terms of overall rides. I am definitely going to plan a trip here.
Charlotte's reaction on that water ride was priceless. Sorry Charlotte but that was epic. Got to say guys what a great park to visit, great theming and rides. You have to get Charlotte on more water rides Shawn.!! Maybe.??😢😢
I came to this park in 1982 when i was just 7 years old, and i still remember it! The park has changed a bit, but many of the things were the same: the trip down into the cave, the mystic River falls ride, the animatronics (though i don't think they had the interactive element then). I have had SUCH a DELIGHTFUL time revisiting my childhood adventure with you guys - this was truly a great vlog that really made me feel like i was there again. Thank you so much for helping me re-experience it!
What a lovely lovely place and the cave experience is one you will never forget wow poor Charlotte getting really soaked bless her she is a good sport loveling the blogs so Far thankyou guys see you on the next one xx
2:48 Hopefully, you get to go to Mammoth Cave National Park someday in Kentucky. I did not know Silver Dollar City theme park has cave tours inside their park.
The Marvel Cave was honestly spectacular and I’m glad you guys had a chance to experience it. But to be honest, Charlotte’s reaction to the rapid’s honestly made my whole week so thanks Charlotte. It’s a shame you couldn’t film on it though. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s vlog!
The construction project that you showed is them rebuilding the furniture factory that you stopped in last time. It was destroyed by fire in 2021 and they temporarily relocated the furniture show room to the old Culinary arts school over by the grand Exposition. The factory that they are rebuilding should be open next season. Glad you loved the cave tour we discussed at Cedar Point in the parking lot your first day of your visit. Was good to meet you two.
At the back side of that building just across from the giant can of tomatoes is a jaw-dropping view. I think the building is a cooking school. It has a wrap-around porch and overlooks the amphitheater, almost as good as the Wildfire scenery. Don’t miss it next time! As always, thanks so much for sharing your adventures.
Shawn and Charlotte, Charlotte, you are a real trooper, you handled that water ride so well on spite of your dislike of head waters! What a great park, what a great day 2 !!! Cheers, Rik Spector
I love watching the both of you. Both of you do a really great job on the park and rides . Even though there are other people who do podcast they are not good as shawn and charlotte
America's heartland has had really weird weather this summer. Lots of rain and really hot temperatures. Rapids rides always drenches the person in the group who hates getting wet the most of anyone. The Great Shootout in the Flooded Mine was cutting edge when the ride was transformed into a target shooting ride. HaHaHa
What a great park that will be a definite on my trip that cave was amazing thanks for taking us along guys. Poor Charlotte getting so wet but good on her for giving it a go. So excited for the next park be safe & keep on riding 😊 ❤Lisa
Those Marvel Caves were just spectacular in every way reminded me of Cheddar Gorge Caves in England. The railroad train was equally good a great ride round. Mystic River Falls incredible just a shame we couldn’t see the on ride footage. So funny to see Charlotte soaked to the skin.
I happen to share Shawn' I happen to share Swawns love of train rides in parks. NEVER miss the BPB Express! Gullivers Warrington has a good one too. The SDC one looks amazing! The cave exploration was fascinating! Smile on my face, thank you. That rapids ride looks amazing. wish they had that at alton towers (remove and replace or renovate!)
Marvel caves was amazing , reminds me of the caves of drach and cave of hams on Majorca ,but looked even better. Interesting that Charlotte said that some of the stalictites looked like bacon . Thje caves of hams is named because some of the stalictites look like hanging ham jionts in a larder . overall looks like a great park , well worth 2 days .
Fire in the Hole may be closing but at least there’s still a clone of it at Dollywood called “Blazing Fury” which was built when that park was Silver Dollar City as well.
Ok! Thank you! I remember riding a similar ride at a place called silver Dollar City when I was a kid, but I've never been to Missouri and was really confused
more please re the caves, great camerawork as always, need to appreciate the 'hassle' is it to film as you walk etc and also your kindof only seeing the attraction via your camera yourself so not fully immersing yourself for our benefit. Very interesting. History of places 'around' themepark areas just as interesting..even more intresting really then endless coasters. Aware your on a schedule, but even a few stop-offs on the way to the themepark/showing maps..or even..those tourist places full of leaflets..things like that to post on your other channel. Very nice park. Best one i think so far.
Shaun ate some fruit?!?! What the hell, are you sick man? This is your best theme park series ever! Its been so much funo watching. Wife and I are planning a trip from oregon to dollywood and silver dollar city soon.
Hi! I worked the cave last year. It is the first thing to close due to all the running water and the mile of metal hand rails throughout the cave! Lightning travels fast through the ground, water and metal! Also don't want to lose power!
When i say I hollered when yall got off Mystic River falls! Hahaha I knew she was gonna get drenched! Charlotte is 100% ME coming off of water rides HAHAHA
Seen 3 Saloon type shows. Many years ago at American Adventure near Ilkeston...basically ladies singing and dancing round you. The one at Porta Aventura...where you buy food and drink, have to eat it quickly and watch stage show with WoodyWoodpecker cowboy themed etc. But the best one imho was at Magic Kingdom Disney Orlando....you watched the stage with Cowboy Goofy and think it was Cowboy Chipmunks as well, Cowgirl singing etc but you remained on the dancefloor watching till the characters joined you dancing around you etc....my 2 year old son loved it. I don't think they do that show now, this was back in 2003 and I didn't see it there in 2017 and 2018.

Charlotte’s reaction to Mystic River Falls was fantastic
Her reactions to getting wet on the water rides are the highlights of these videos for me. 🤣
She really did get soaked this time!
@@birdenaleininger4043 she did!

🎉 so happy!
Flooded mine is one of the best rides! Been there 50 years, so that should say something.
The running theme of Shaun staying relatively dry while Charlotte gets soaked continues 🤣
It was a good laugh 😂
Charlotte throwing her socks in the bin made me laugh so much 😂😂
It was a very funny day 😂

Same owners!
Same folks! They opened a second park (Silver Dollar City Tennessee) and then sold Dolly a partnership - and Dollywood was born!

There are many shops around the park with things you can’t purchase in the gift shop at the exit of the park.
