Don't think to much into everything try to enjoy the journey. You have your home, job, and vehicle and that is your start. Navigating this thing called life is an experience for all of us and at least you are not on the street doing drugs and homeless. I had people I worked out with sometimes at the gym but we never hung out at each other house. So it is cool you have someone to chill with. Take care
