You are definitely In perimenopause. Don’t let them gaslight you. I’m now 48 almost 49 and I was dismissed by my gyno for YEARS, telling me I was too young at 42. I know that I’m in perimenopause and approaching menopause because I know my body and no one will tell me different. The list is so long with me. Night sweats, constant sweating, irritability, depression, extreme anxiety, waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep, mood swings, GI issues, heart palpitations, weight gain and most recently spotting between periods, the list goes on and on…. Unfortunately a hormone panel work won’t show anything because our hormones are always fluctuating. So you have to just go try to treat the symptoms. We have to be our our health advocate ❤
SAME!! I'm the same age as you. My symptoms started about a year ago but my doctor didn't ignore the fact that I'm in perimenopause. He offered me a low dose of Paxil to help with some of the mental symptoms. He did say until I started skipping my cycle or getting irregular that hormone replacement therapy wouldn't do much at this point. I also have Hashimoto's (thyroid autoimmune disorder) so dial up the anxiety, GI issues and mood swings, lol.
@@lilwhit28 I’ve been on Lexapro for years to help with anxiety. As for hrt, I don’t plan on doing any hormone therapy. I know a few people who had a bad experience. I’m going to go the natural route.
Dani, go to a menopause specialist. If there are any available in your area. You can have symptoms 10 yrs prior to actual menopause. I had many of the same issues which started around 40 and thankfully my dr put me on low dose estrogen. I’m 46 now. I hope that you get the answers you deserve and that everything works out
I agree with this. Menopause Taylor on UA-cam has free videos that go over everything. They also have consultations as well. Dani - I hope that you feel better soon. ❤
There is no actual blood test for menopause. You can actually get symptoms starting at age 35. I had the same thing and was ignored with the same laundry list of other specialists to go see for over a YEAR!!! If you still feel ragged keep looking.
I agree also. I started perio symptoms in my late 20’s. At the time I had never heard of it. I am now 55 and still in it, got the official diagnosis at 40. I am looking forward to the day when I can say I am in menopause 😂 Without being a Dr, I believe having a pregnancy in my early 30’s kinda help hold off some of the symptoms? Good luck, and remember we are our best advocate!
Dani, I wish I could give you a hug. From someone in their early 50's, it is the hardest thing that I have ever experienced to date. Menopause is like having PMS on steroids. The range of emotions go from wanting to straight-up fist fight, cry, eat, cry some more, cuddle something and then rage again (and that's just the emotional side). It's nucking futs, but you're not. Keep laughing and give yourself grace. You are amazing!
Dani, I was dismissed by several GYN’s (men & women, surprisingly) they all said I was too young. I was 40! By 45 I was post menopausal. No one ever offered HRT or anything. Just…🤷🏼♀️IDK…OMG. Seriously? Just keep trying until you’re heard! You are the expert of your body. Sending you all the love & hugs. ❤
I felt angry on your behalf watching this vlog Dani. I want to give you a big hug! Being a woman is not easy. Please keep on advocating for yourself, perimenopause can start as early as mid 30s these are facts. It makes me angry when women get dismissed. please keep knocking on their door until you get answers.
I’m 35, no kids, and I have a lot of the symptoms you mention in your videos. Honestly it has been worrying me that I have perimenopause, so I’m glad you gave us this update. none the less it’s a reminder or motivator that I need to visit my doctor to see what’s going on
i was told i was in perimenopause at age 35. and that was before the dr knew i was from a family of early menopausal women. don’t let yourself be dismissed so easily x
Dani, ADHD becomes worse during perimenopause, try reading the Menopause Brain by Lisa Mosconi, and The New Menopause by Mary Claire Haver (she’s a doc in TX who specializes in menopause) they also have some really good podcasts and social media info. Did they take your blood during your luteal phase?
Dani, I have been watching your channel for a long as I can remember watching UA-cam, but I never comment. Every woman’s body is different if you feel you know what is going on with you, you’re probably right. You know your body better than anyone else knows your body. My friend at 22 had a miscarriage because she started menopause. Also the way you put in so much care and consideration into giving gifts is so beautiful and you are a beautiful soul. I commented before I finished the video and now I am crying and laughing for you/ with you. You have the greatest personality.
Peri menopause can start as young as 35, regular doctors never care, ask for your blood work and tests that were done and take it to a wellness doctor. I’m currently in The same boat, and someone who was having the same symptoms told me to go to a wellness doctor. Being a woman is hard, and in order to be a happy mom and wife we must first take care of everything that may irritate or makes us feel not like ourselves. Hope you continue to update us on your journey and hope you soon get everything settle because health is the real wealth! Hugs from California 💕💕
Hi Dani! 🥰 I feel your pain with all the mammograms and Ultrasound’s. Been through the same since 2005, when I had my first biopsy. It’s very unnerving. I was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, which started with an enlarged lymph node in my neck. For anyone reading this, Please continue to do self checks of your breasts, under arms, neck and groin area. If you feel something, please get it checked. I was lucky that my cancer is stage 1. I am now 11 days post my first round of chemotherapy and do not wish this for anyone. Be your own advocate! God bless you and your family!
Female hormones are in a cyclical cycle. There isn’t bloodwork to confirm peri menopause, only post menopause. Peri is usually based on symptoms! Checking hormones on a random day isn’t helpful! I’m so disappointed in some doctors these days 🥴
Dani, I’m so glad you’re ok. 💕 I’m thankful we got an update! Also, it’s so nice to see how wonderfully you treat your family and friends and all of us out here in your community. You deserve all the grace and kindness and happiness in the world! Ok, BRB. I need another 5 decoden pop sockets from your store…🤣💗🐼
Thank you for manicure tool tips. I love the shape of your nails and I have never been able to create the shape on my own until now! I ordered the tweezerman clipper set and files along with the Ella & Mila base coat and my nails are beautiful. The clipper is the key to getting the shape so again thank you!
My experience with mammograms have always had a negative result the first time around, which was followed up by a sonogram and biopsy. It came back clear. My recent mammo was the same deal. Flagged and then had ultrasound. The breast specialist said for more petite, dense tissue it’s hard to tell so they do more testing. I have an “island of dense tissue “ he called it and said it’s just hard to see. So now I am ordered to get an MRI each year instead of a million X-rays .
Symptoms of perimenopause started for me when I was 39 - my menopause hit at age 49 (I'm now 57). Don't let them tell you it CAN'T be that! That's malarkey! They rely way too much on bloodwork only. Everything you're explaining sounds like perimenopause.
I was 38 when my menopausal journey started. (Early onset menopause). So don't let her just dismiss the issue due to your age without getting bloodwork to check your hormones. I'm 49 now and I'm still perimenopausal. .😜 good luck with your health journey. I hope everything will be resolved soon for you! Love your channel & your content. Your bubly personality is such a plus. 😃😁
I 100% thought perimenopause when I felt terrible earlier this year physically and emotionally. My mom started perimenopause in her mid 30s and had to have a hysterectomy at 42 (my current age). Fast forward it was my thyroid. I have Graves Disease. Getting answers is helpful, but it's a journey. Hope you get relief regardless of what is driving the symptoms.
Oh Dani I have never felt more seen with this vlog, I can relate 10000 percent!! I’m in the exact same boat as you. I definitely felt the changes in my body beginning of this year, I turned the big 40 this August. I also left the doctor’s office with no answers to my symptoms and a prescription for “anxiety”. I asked for blood work to check my hormones and was told there is no such thing?? The lingering headaches I also get them frequent on and off and I also had a headache for about 10 days :( I absolutely hate for this to be my “New” normal. I just wish there were answers to the changes in our bodies and Doctors don’t seem to help. Please continue to keep us updated on this journey, it is definitely comforting to feel seen and understood and to not think we are alone in this. We got this Dani :) Un abrazo fuerte amiga.
Hi Dani🎉😊 I am grateful for this. It’s been a very difficult couple of weeks.😢 Then I saw your post after work🎉🎉🎉 GODS TIMING… can’t beat it🙏🏽I’m not sure if have/had menopause/perimenapause because I’m all over the place all the time anyway😂😂 Aanyway, thank you for visiting us🐼❤️Bless your family🐶🙏🏽❤️I hope you get your answers and on the road to a beautiful recovery 🙏🏽I’m genuinely hoping you feel better!!
Dani, I am so sorry about your health things going on. I know the frustration of not getting by the answer you think you will get. On a side note…I absolutely LOVE my new holiday badge reels and can’t wait for October to switch to my Halloween one!!!!! You are amazing with what you do and I love giving you full creative decision!!
Dani, I have read something awhile back that migraines symptoms can be a sign of mineral and salt deficiency in your body. With temperatures as hot as they have been and being outside a lot with boy’s baseball games, maybe your body needs some important minerals and salts. I will pinch some Himalayan or Celtic salts right in my mouth during days where I’m sweating a lot to avoid dehydration. I drink a lot of water too, but make sure to excrete my urine too. As too much water without peeing is bad too. Some much body talk. 😂
Dani, I just turned 62. I began my period when I was 10. Yes at age 10. While it was not regular till I was 12, it was just the way it was. Having said that, I started menopause around age 36 37. By the time I was 42 I no longer had a period. My ob gyn said he could give me meds so I could get my period, of course I declined. Thank you, no. So you are not too young for preparimenopause. I agree, you might want to consider a specialist in this field. During menopause, your hormones emotions just can go every which way. Wishing you all the best. I also have anemia so I understand when you talk about those symptoms. It's not fun getting iron transfusions. 😢
Im 61. I was in para-menopause for 10 years. My symptoms were all over the place for years. So don’t give up. I suffered with migraines the entire time para-manopause. My longest was a 13 day headache. Diet helped a lot and after menopause they went away. I would highly recommend that you start eliminating foods and see if it helps. When I started entering para-menopause I also started getting the really bad migraines and there were foods that absolutely triggered headaches. Ice packs helped a lot when the meds didn’t work.
I am in the same boat with migraines before my period, and not feeling well overall. I’m 38 and was sure perimenopause was starting and have read it can start as early as mid 30s. Everyone has told me that’s not the case too.🫤 I started seeing a holistic doctor and it’s already helping. She tested my hormones, blood and turns out my ferritin and a bunch of nutrients are very low causing fatigue and many symptoms. Maybe if what you are trying doesn’t help, you could find a hostess doc in your area to see if they have any additional insight/suggestions. Love you Dani and hope things improve ❤🐼
I laugh so hard with the Virgo comment 😂😂😂😂 I am with you with the perimenopause fun!! Still looking for a specialist to finally feel like myself again, also reading Dr. Mary Claire Haver’s book. Hope you the best and thank you very much for all the laughs ❤
I felt you when you said you could never make the bed and be happy. My husband doesn't care if it's made in the morning, but he has to make it all neat before going to bed. 🙄
Dani I'm so sorry to hear about your health struggles. I was surprised to hear your NP say you are too young for PM, as you are on the young side, but it's not unheard of for people to start in their late 30's. Statistically, it's only about 5% of people (I actually looked it up), but it's not outside of the realm of possibility. I echo the advice of a lot of others about going to see a specialist, because I think your initial instinct was probably correct. It's frustrating, especially when other women providers are so quick to dismiss women's pain and suffering. It's well documented that it's harder for women's pain to be taken seriously by doctors, but you deserve to feel good!
Hello Dani!! I found this Dr on You Tube who specializes in Menopause Dr. Mary Claire Haver, MD she talks bluntly and she even says woman are just lied to. Its awful how the medical field treats woman. This is from someone who works in Healthcare and I have for 20 yrs. Listen to your body.. You know it better than anyone. I do make my bed everyday.. I don't flip if it isn't made... but.. you do you... and maybe if you don't make it long enough Parker will get use to it.. HAHAH nope he is a policeman then are like military men and I am married to a military man! 🤣😂🤣 I love watching your videos, its like listening to a friend!
Could the headaches be from the chemicals you use for the badge clips? Just a thought I had. I hope you feel better soon. Also, perimenopause is definitely a thing. I’m 43 and going thru it as well. ♥️
I just heart you!! Yay for armpit boobs! Thank you for hanging out with me while I work 💛(or pretend to work) 😉 and also - menopause and perimenopause is sooooo often overlooked but you know you best! Find a doctor who specializes in it - the whole not feeling like yourself and 742 different ailments is so common! I wear the estrogen patch now and it’s made a big difference for me but it took a lot of advocating to get it! Don’t give up - your pandas have got you 🥰
Funny story tmi. So do I. lol when “breast feeding” my first son I literally had the milk coming out of my armpits… needless to say he was bottle fed 😂
for me headaches at different times of the month with different symptoms, tend to get lots of sinus headaches (lots of pressure in my head, i feel like an elephant is standing on head push me way down, i am worthless, no energy, feel terrible, so much added air, it is just no fun) ...with older age more migraine type symptoms, not like some folks but the eye issues, the biometric system really affects me, i can always tell when the temps are changing, new seasons coming, humidity, etc. oh i love Discovery of Witches (started as a book, if you wanna read the series, so good by Deborah Harkness, adds more to the series, well done!) thanks for the code, i love that Dani ... you rock, take care of yourself ... your kids and you family will love you more when you are happy and health as well. big big hugs. ( :
Hope your feeling better!!! And everything will be answered. I wish i had group of youtube pandas to speak your feelings and frustrations. I have days of overwhelming overthinking and worrying but i just keep it in.
Hi :) can you describe your headache? I’ve head pressure headache for 3 weeks . I went to see a nuerologist . Everyone keeps telling me perimenopause because I’m 44 but my blood tests are normal too:(
I agree, go to a menopause expert. I went through the exact same thing, including the high density boob lol. I’m on birth control so hormone levels are not measured correctly. Went to a specialist, they agreed it was perimenopause and suggested vitamin supplements until I go into full blown menopause. So far it’s kept my symptoms at bay, except my eye dryness. Yes, eye dryness. So awesome to be a woman lol.
I really feel like you missed an opportunity to sing we're all in this together at the end😂. Im so glad everything is ok! Thanks for keeping company while I'm getting over some ick my husband gave me 😢
Hello Dani: You may know this, but Biotin affects Thyroid test results. Please discuss this with your doctor if your thyroid level comes back as abnormal.
I started having perimenopause symptoms in June/July went to a GYN and they did blood test( hormones, thyroids) all that was found was my testosterone was a lil high. They didn't want to put me on anything which is frustrating. Nightly sweats, weight gain, acne, low libido, ugh and others but I started taking Macaroot, estroven, and started a new face routine. Ahhh aging 😢😢😢 lol
Dani get a second opinion menopause wise, my grandmother got menopause at 44 and the doctors didn’t believe her prior. And my mom is going through the same thing now, she is 45. Do you know when your mother got menopause, best of luck!. I hope you feel better 🐼🐼
So many things you explained I also am going through. I did a Mycotoxin Panel and sure enough I am high in 4 different types of mycotoxins. Would highly suggest getting one as implants can be a cause as well.
perimenopause? A period called perimenopause usually begins a few years before the last menstrual cycle. There are two stages in the transition: Early Stage. Perimenopause can begin in some women in their 30s, but most often it starts in women ages 40 to 44. So insane that your feelings were dismissed.
i gotta add another comment, i never make the bed ever. i think it needs to aire out ... get the bad out ... i mean you sweat ... duh!! we are genuis!! heck yeah!! LOL!! love ya, Dani!! ( ;
I haven't had implants, but other than that, a lot of my symptoms are the same. I went to my doctors office in distress saying i need an earlier appointment 😂 needless to say it got moved up a month. Im like im falling a part over here send HELP 😅
Learning I had dense breast tissue, had me bawling after ny first mammogram a few yrs ago. I was called to come back for a 2nd mammogram and I spiraled and had the bug C racing thru my brain until I got the results
We watched Mayfair Witches and The Discovery of Witches (ending was not what we expected, kinda bleh). We just finished Preacher, it was good, a little corny at times and a bit on the gore side. We are watching The Old Man right now. It is really good!! Highly suggest, and I think Parker would like it.
Every initial mammogram is different. It’s normal. We all have “abnormal” mammogram our first visit. I’ve had to have 6 month follow ups since my first one 4 years ago.
If you don't wish to take meds because of side effects... Its important to tell health care provider what YOU are willing & not willing to do. And I agree with the other commenter 'menopause specialist'. But... Headaches I'm an expert on, migraines run on both sides of my family. Many times I feel what feels like a migraine but its actually a sinus headache. I do get both & I do take meds for both simultaneously.
I too was told was too young to have any perimenopause symptoms but then again they didn't do any test they just dismissed it. So now that I'm in my 40s I definitely think it's perimenopause cuz menopause is right around the corner and they say symptoms can start about 10 years prior. Idk. Women definitely need better health care
Dani, find yourself an experienced functional medicine doctor or ARNP. They listen to you and treat the whole body at the root cause, not isolate symptoms and put bandaids on them like traditional MDs. I am much happier since making the switch and my health has never been better. You will get answers.
Hay estos doctores 😮Everything you have mentioned I have went to the doctor and same thing you are too young. So me fui a Tijuana hacerme todos los estudios de nuevo. Ya estoy en menopausia 😢 ya se porque estoy como loca 😜. Ahora tengo que decir me saco mi uterus that has 4 cysts or do I get on hormones and try to reboot my crazy body to get my painful periods 😅. Hay no what the ___####! listen to your body 😊
I tell people all the time that just because it’s a medicine doesn’t mean it fixed it all. Like blood pressure medicine does help with blood pressure but you have to change your diet, and your mindset, and everything combines together you’re right it’s just not a magical pill

( my eyes are up here) 😂😂😂i laughed so hard for 15 minutes. Love you and your spirit ❤
🎉❤HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Parker!!!
I laugh so hard with the Virgo comment 😂😂😂😂
I am with you with the perimenopause fun!! Still looking for a specialist to finally feel like myself again, also reading Dr. Mary Claire Haver’s book. Hope you the best and thank you very much for all the laughs ❤
Preacher is such a funny, weird show! Glad you’re ok.🦋
I’m going to purchase the nail kit. Love it 💜
I felt you when you said you could never make the bed and be happy. My husband doesn't care if it's made in the morning, but he has to make it all neat before going to bed. 🙄
Hey that’s my kitty tag and badge reel. They look great. Now I need to think of the next one. 😀
Buenos Dias Dani ❤ dumb question...do you think this hair growth vitamin will work for men ??
Hope you have a fabulicious day 😊 dios te bendiga 💜
Just used your code for the biotin gummies! Can’t wait to try them!!❤
Dani I'm so sorry to hear about your health struggles.
I’m so sorry you got dismissed. Three words… MARY CLAIRE HAVER! She’s excellent
I’m with you on the Fear of the walking dead! Kill me now! 😅 BUT I LOVED The walking dead!
I’m here for the over share! Love it!!!🤍
Hello Dani!!
Hi Dani
Good luck with everything
In the description can you please link the nail buffers
I just heart you!! Yay for armpit boobs! Thank you for hanging out with me while I work 💛(or pretend to work) 😉 and also - menopause and perimenopause is sooooo often overlooked but you know you best! Find a doctor who specializes in it - the whole not feeling like yourself and 742 different ailments is so common! I wear the estrogen patch now and it’s made a big difference for me but it took a lot of advocating to get it! Don’t give up - your pandas have got you 🥰
Fear the walking dead never gets better! ❤
I started perimenopause at age 38. That was confirmed thru blood work. So you’re not too young.
i like to hear about your doctors visits, it helps
Saturday 7 PM post… Friday Morning Post. I. Am. Here. For. It.
Funny story tmi. So do I. lol
when “breast feeding” my first son I literally had the milk coming out of my armpits… needless to say he was bottle fed 😂
for me headaches at different times of the month with different symptoms, tend to get lots of sinus headaches (lots of pressure in my head, i feel like an elephant is standing on head push me way down, i am worthless, no energy, feel terrible, so much added air, it is just no fun) ...with older age more migraine type symptoms, not like some folks but the eye issues, the biometric system really affects me, i can always tell when the temps are changing, new seasons coming, humidity, etc. oh i love Discovery of Witches (started as a book, if you wanna read the series, so good by Deborah Harkness, adds more to the series, well done!) thanks for the code, i love that Dani ... you rock, take care of yourself ... your kids and you family will love you more when you are happy and health as well. big big hugs.
So awesome to be a woman lol.
lol “mind your business” 😂❤
Best part Renata up close gorgeous girl. 🙏🏼 glad you’re okay and healthy. I think that’s where my boobs are too 😂😂 thanks Dani.
I've always had problems with regular nail polish to dry too. So all I use is gel now. Regular polish has never worked for me.
It may sound odd, but have them check your bloodwork for mold. Mold can cause so much havoc in your body.
Love your green top. Amazon link profavor???🤪😂🤣
Hold on. You linked. 😳😆🤣
Dani get a second opinion menopause wise, my grandmother got menopause at 44 and the doctors didn’t believe her prior. And my mom is going through the same thing now, she is 45. Do you know when your mother got menopause, best of luck!. I hope you feel better 🐼🐼
The Coke clarification 😂
So many things you explained I also am going through. I did a Mycotoxin Panel and sure enough I am high in 4 different types of mycotoxins. Would highly suggest getting one as implants can be a cause as well.
Good Morning Dani!! 🐼💜
Good morning! 🌞🐼💜
perimenopause?
A period called perimenopause usually begins a few years before the last menstrual cycle. There are two stages in the transition: Early Stage. Perimenopause can begin in some women in their 30s, but most often it starts in women ages 40 to 44.
So insane that your feelings were dismissed.
i gotta add another comment, i never make the bed ever. i think it needs to aire out ... get the bad out ... i mean you sweat ... duh!! we are genuis!! heck yeah!! LOL!! love ya, Dani!! ( ;
I was told it was impossible I was having hot flashes at 40, that I was too young to be peri-menopausal. I went into full menopause at 47.
I haven't had implants, but other than that, a lot of my symptoms are the same. I went to my doctors office in distress saying i need an earlier appointment 😂 needless to say it got moved up a month. Im like im falling a part over here send HELP 😅
I agree with you that the mammogram issues are from your previous issues.
42:52 Dani quotes!!! “Like don’t get in my way if you’re annoying!” “Be nice.” Exactly!!! Love it
I am sorry you have to go through the diagnostic mammogram route. I have been through it multiple times.
LOL!!!! I hardly ever make my bed!!! I make it when I feel like it and when I make the time.
Try rosehip oil.
Coke. Coca-cola…soda 😅
🧡💛💚💙💜
Lol I thought I was the only one who took meds and coke for a headache.
❤
I too was told was too young to have any perimenopause symptoms but then again they didn't do any test they just dismissed it. So now that I'm in my 40s I definitely think it's perimenopause cuz menopause is right around the corner and they say symptoms can start about 10 years prior. Idk. Women definitely need better health care
Dani, find yourself an experienced functional medicine doctor or ARNP. They listen to you and treat the whole body at the root cause, not isolate symptoms and put bandaids on them like traditional MDs. I am much happier since making the switch and my health has never been better. You will get answers.
Dani🎉good morning
I get these scans because I have enlarged lymph nodes.
Oh Dani! I am glad you are okay. You scared me for a moment. Boobs in your arms? Never Heard of it. So strange!
I tell people all the time that just because it’s a medicine doesn’t mean it fixed it all. Like blood pressure medicine does help with blood pressure but you have to change your diet, and your mindset, and everything combines together you’re right it’s just not a magical pill
I work in health care and wished I could talk to you during this video!
It must be a Sagittarius thing to not wanna make your bed cuz hunny I can relate 😅
