Thank you for posting! The Livery Stable was named for my grandpa Al Jank, who was in charge of livestock at Universal in the 1980's.

I took one of the original tours in 65. The back lot was kind of a rundown and hills covered in weeds. Hollywood was having a hard time. But the tour was fun, pretty simple but it likely saved the studio lot by contributing considerable overhead revenue. Today the lot is beautiful. Happy 60th Anniversary,
