This song reminds me of the part in one of the last episodes when seon hwa and hyun jun are parting and then he slowly wraps his arms around her with a small smile and he says "If it were anyone else but you...I wouldn't have come this far" and then you see a tear. Made me cry pretty much all day of how sweet he is ♥ Love this song!! ;)
Have to say, was pleasantly surprised by what a good show this was. I'm glad it didn't have a 'happy' ending. Plus, the music, as you can tell, is great! Thanks everyone associated with the show!
I first watch this movie 2013 as a teen, now 2024 in my own apartment I remember who I was at that time, how young I was and now I’m 25 iris popped up on my Netflix and I’m watching and i understand love now, i understand loyalty of loving that one person even if she ain’t there no more, you see her when you close your eyes, or when you see another couple that type of connection is pure .. As a teen all my friends liked boys over flowers, I was the only one who liked Iris now today watching this movie after 11 years I found out I’m more like the character, Loyal, soft inside but hard outside, I see dangerous situations as fun and I’ve only loved and dated one person ..
I remember I lisstened to this over and over again when i was rejected by a guy.. cried my eyes out in music class in the corner of the room, where my cousin was, hugging me..
I know this is just a movie but am heart broken. I dunno if am the only one that feel this way. I couldn't stop thinking about the sad ending of hyung jun,, and Seon Hwa's pains got to me too. Personally, I have watched this movie over and over and over again.. This is 2020, am still watching the series. But when it gets towards the ending, towards the death of hyun jun, I switch off my TV. With the level of grief in my heart I would personally sue the producer for making the movie get such a sad ending. Till date I feel heart broken, I cry like a baby each time I remember my favorite man died at last. Then Seon Hwa,, there was literally no compensation for her, I got all seon hwa's pic littered on my phone. Call it obsession, I don't care, I'm just heart broken and I don't think this is normal either. Maybe I need a doctor Then this sound track, *Sad Love* killed me, the best I've ever heard, damn, I'm currently on a piano class learning to play this sound. It's even my morning alarm. Lol Nevertheless, whoever wrote the story line,, wrote the best movie I've ever seen in my whole life. Kudos. But I would still sue the producer for the sad ending If I got the chance. Unless he'll rewrite that sad ending, hyung jun shouldn't die plzzzzzzz 🙏🙏🙏

This is by far my favorite OST in the whole drama! I hated the ending though (Well i hate the fact that Rick and Hyun Joon will die!(I haven't finished it yet!)) But this song is just. I don't know. I love it!

Athena is a spin-off so it's based on new characters, but Seonhwa appears throughout the drama. I think Athena's like for Iris to link to Iris 2. You should watch it!
The movie version is just cuts from the drama. It's good to watch if you don't have time to rewatch the whole drama haha, except skip the ending! haha My favourite is Athena. If Iris had a happy ending then it would be my fav, but maybe it's also because I watched Athena before watching Iris..
I would sue the producer(s) if I got the chance. I'm emotionally down!!!! With the death of Hyung joong. Why the f*ck must it end that way?????? I would cry and consoul myself, and keep listening to the tune and keep crying.. It's addictive, I'm addicted. 9 years and counting I'm still watching Iris, I'm still playing this tune..

So, Korea and China are 'teachers' and Japan is a 'student'. (a 'bad student' who gave damage to his teachers…） Anyway, the OST of IRIS is excellent. I also love the OST of "Bodyguard" (a 2003 Korean drama). I watched exciting Samurunori（사물놀이）performance last year in Japan. I hope to hear Samurunori with jazz rhythm section (el-b, ds, perc).

seon hwa shot hyun jun..it was revealed she was the sniper in the movie version..she's apparently a member of iris in the movie version..i hope she's not for the rest of the series

I was very sad at the end and the haunting music helped my journey with the tears. Loved it.

The last song makes me feel sad. It reminds me of when yuhwa's boyfriend died in the last espsiod of iris 2.
But its a pity that a lot of the main cast are not coming back in iris 2 :'( and not sure if seonhwa will be back
