I feel like SAD-ist would have to go with Foolish's totem godlike look rather than his shark onesie, but it would be funny to see the a god wearing a onsie in serious scenes.

Maybe I'm looking too far into it but it's almost like Ghostbur was a light at the end of the tunnel and the totem blocked him. Fantastic none the less, I can't stop watching that part
don't forget the "HEH!?"
My favorite part was the Techno vs Quackity moment and I'm surprised not that many other people are saying it either. the fact Quackity has full enchanted netherite. And it's the backstory of techno's pickaxe, Toothpick.
Also the animation is super smooth and I love how his pickaxe swings in circles.

And when he is revived, Techno's arm is regrown to the pole so he has to rip it off. All the detail is amazing!

“foolish was summoned by techno using a totem” this isn’t my theory but I thought it was cool so I wanted to share it.

Maybe a little canon lore: foolish is the result of techno’s blood corrupting the totem, that’s why he didn’t heal his arm
If you see closely in the animation, you can see that techno’s arm gets caught in the bars, techno swipes his arm out causing it to bleed

I’m glad that other people also think that the whole totem animation was dope. The crack of the totem, and then the flesh reconstructing, with his arm through a bar as an added detail. That moment was absolute perfection.
Afterward he sort of limped and the screen blurred and came back into focus and I thought that was absolutely amazing

I genuinely cannot stop thinking about those animation bc it really captures the way that these characters interact, their relationships, their alliances, their beliefs. I think this is a pivotal moment into the minds of these characters and HOH

Tencho’s movement at 4:09 always makes me have jolt of excitement. Idk why but every time I watched that bit I would have to physically move because my enthusiasm was so great;maybe it’s because the animation is so smooth Idk.

To be honest, hearing techno say “the way I am treated, is the way I will treat others.” Just is like... woah because that phrase goes both ways.
I love that line because its such a twist on the golden rule “treat others the way you want to be treated”. It requires one to be treated good first before repaying the favor instead of being nice for the sake of a chance of being payed back with kindness.
If it wasn’t for Foolish, Technoblade would’ve lost a canon life.

Techno honestly says some of the most powerful lines on the SMP. (Not disregarding all the AWESOME moments everyone else has tho) and this animation is AMAZINGGG I CANT EVEN COMPREHEND HOW AWESOME IT IS

My favorite part (besides the totem part bc I think we can all agree it was pretty epic) was when techno saw Phil and was showing so much concern and emotion to the point he was trying to run to him.

OH MY GOD I LOVE THE TOTEM SCENE SO MUCH. When I first saw the animation i rewatched that part SO many times. It was SO GOOD!!!!! (I’m gonna go on a rant for a min) I find that scene so INCREDIBLY cool because I love how much attention to detail she has. In a stream a while after this happened it was stated that totems don’t prevent death, they kill you and then revive you right after. In this scene you can see that. Techno was killed but then got revived and we can see that by seeing his skin being pulled back together. Most animators might not have payed attention to that part. That’s part of the reason I love sadists animations. Not only does she put so much attention to detail but you can tell she puts SO much work into her animations.
i really love how ghostbur serves as an omen of sorts in this!! he’s there at the beginning before the army arrives, you can see a bloody blue handprint on a tree beside phil as he watches techno get dragged away, and there’s the frame of him just before the anvil hits!!

So, the crows are supposed to be the whisper messages that technoblade and philza sent between them. They are like messenger pigeons. And the original part of the anvil, in the beginning, was it lifting up to the sky. Just a fun fact!
